Popular with international travelers and backpackers, Las Amazonas is comparable to the nearby Hotel Copacabana, in that I wouldn't stay in either of them except for the fact that the location is the best. You can pay 4 or 5 times as much elsewhere, but in this price range, well... you get what you get. Clean bathrooms. Big variety in...

Friendly reception staff. Very clean. Unfortunately the outside rooms are extremely noisy, so ask for an interior one if you can. It was cold when I was here, be aware there is no air conditioning in the room, when it's hot.

This is a no-frills hotel less than a minute walk from the main square. A single room comes at 150b$/night which gets one a hot shower and a clean-enough room. The desk is always manned with helpful and friendly staff. Overall I'd rate this place as "average", but location in combination with price elevate it to "very good". There is...

Great for a short stay, good location and bargain price. Staff is nice and honest. I have stayed a total or 70 days in the last 3 years and never 'lost' anything, even sometimes leaving money, laptop, or a camera on plain sight. Not to say you should do this, but there is no need to distrust the maids or...

Having a night to spare on the way back from provincial Bolívia to Brazil I and Family stopped off here. For a one star modest hotel it was perfectly clean and comfortable - a long and good sleep ensued.Very central. No frills but friendly reception team. Would use again.

Only two blocks from the main square. Pity that they don´t serve breakfast, but on the other side of the street they serve great breakfast. Clean but simple room with a fan on the ceiling. I come back here after my visit to the Pantanal.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend and the place was every clean and the reception was very helpful. it's not going to be the best place you have ever stayed and if your by yourself it's not great for a common area or anything like that. the showers where hot and powerful and no electric shocks! if...

I liked this Hotel, not only it has an excellent location (just one block from the 24 septiembre plaza) but the cleanness of the room, better than other hotels, I haven stayed around downtown Santa Cruz. The staff was very friendly and it was provided free wi-fi. I will definitly come back to this hotel!

150Bs for a twin room with a private bathroom NOT including breakfast. This is more like a hostel than a hotel. If you are on a holiday and staying in hotels I wouldn't recommend this place, it's too basic. But if you are backpacking and looking for a reasonable hostel, I would recommend this to you. It's much more suited...
