I have lived in Bolivia for more than 10 years and this remains one of my favorite spots for a weekend getaway to Lake Titicaca. It is just a couple blocks up from the main drag of Copacabana (close to shops and restaurants and the beach), but it's also perched just high enough above the town to feel removed from...

I stayed here for 2 nights in a single room with private bathroom (which in fact had two double beds). It was very comfortable, the shower was good and they provide heating for the chilly nights in Copacabana. The hotel's best selling point are the numerous gardens with hammocks and alpacas plus the gorgeous views over Lake Titicaca. I do...

This hostel was absolutely amazing and really more of a hotel with stunning views and facilities including a kitchen and hot showers, both essential when backpacking! It even has a hot tub with a beautiful setting to watch the sunset. At $22 for a double room this was the perfect place to relax and see both Copacabana & Isla Del...

We were at the very top of their property and had a suite with stained glass windows that looked over the bay. There was even a jacuzzi and a fireplace. It was totally amazing and for only $55 per night. The staff were very friendly and spoke English.

La Cupola is simply stunning. You can see that the owner fulfilled his own vision of architecture. Rooms are spacious with great views. The food in the restaurant is also very good and we felt always like coming home after each day trip

Hotel La Cupula is a good place to stay. No doubts about it. One the one hand, you will find confortable big bedrooms, with fireplace and stoves for keep you warm during the cold night. The cleanliness is good and the staff is attentive and useful. On the other hand, they offer services which are not good, such the laundry...

We found this place on Hostelworld.com and were expecting a shady hostel, but instead found this gorgeous B&B. Beautiful rooms, eclectic architecture, beautiful food and views, and pet llamas!! Martin the curator has obviously poured his passion into this place. Try out the hot tub at dusk, it's well worth it.

This might be my favorite hotel experience EVER! I really loved it here! It's got a great location with awesome views, the buildings are delightful and the ground are nice (and they have llamas). My room was super good value. $20 for a single room which was really clean, nicely decorated, had a space heater for cold evenings, had a...

This is a really cool place. It is on a hill so be prepared for a brisk walk to get there. Really cool rooms and grounds. Great views and a nice onsite restaurant. Check in is tricky because they don't accept credit cards.

Hotel La Cúpula is one of those places where you pay more, but it's definitely worth it. Each room is different, and each offers a different beautiful view of Lake Titicaca. We had three great nights here, and it was a great base to explore from and even better to come back to and hang out.
