Our room was amazing! Comfortable bed, fresh breezes and a nice view from the second story. The generous breakfasts were delicious! Lynn seems to think of everything her guests might need and has it all ready and waiting. The evening around the firepit was a great time.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the AG inn of Augusta, Mo. We had the whole place to ourselves. This BNB is a three room inn and our whole party enjoyed the privacy of separate portions of the house but had great common areas for us to break out a game of cards against humanity with many laughs. Each...

Lynn is a charming and gracious hostess who offers 3 cozy rooms to cyclists along the KATY trail during the week and wine lovers on weekends. There is a nice garden and a living room where I enjoyed reading in the afternoon and my morning coffee. The 3- course breakfast was memorable and generous - a fresh fruit plate with...

Lynn was so welcoming when we got there! She shared the history of the house (previous owners, etc.), which was very interesting. We stayed in suite 2 - it had a separate sitting room with a fireplace and a sauna in the bathroom. Suite 2 also has it's own private entrance (entrance is actually shared with suite 3). Lynn's 3-course...

I called to reserve room 2 with the sauna and Lynn returned my call very quickly. Unfortunately it was unavailable but I went ahead and book Room 3 since we need a room for a weekend race that was coming up soon. We only stay for a night and couldn't stay for the breakfast because the race started at 6:30am,...

We had the best stay at Applegate! Lynn makes you feel like family. The house and rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is superb! Beautiful back yard with a sitting area and they have the fire pit ready to go each night. We stayed in Suite 2 with the sauna which was amazing. Will certainly be back.

Enjoyed a nice overnight respite from the hustle and bustle at Applegate b&b. Great home cooked breakfast. Nice cozy room with sauna and fireplace in room #2. Great room rate. Lovely inn and innkeeper. Walkable to Katy trail. We took our bikes and did 12 miles after the big breakfast. Augusta is a pretty town. Nice getaway from St. Louis....

The beds were so wonderfully comfortable, the atmosphere of the rooms so nice and the breakfast was over the top. Well worth a second visit! Lynn the innkeeper is gracious and super hospitable. When in Augusta make sure to stay here. It's walking distance to Augusta and Mt Pleasant wineries and Augusta Brewing plus a few cute shops.

We loved our time spent at the Apple Gate Inn! Lynn was a great hostess and a wonderful cook. Breakfast was amazing and filling! The rooms all have private entrances and are quiet. The house is historic but has all the modern conveniences you will need. Our suite had a sauna, mini fridge, and a coffee maker. As well as...

“Loved Suite 2. It is the only room that has an internal and external entrance. The others, I'm sure are lovely as well, but you have to go outside to then enter the house for breakfast.”
