We haven't stayed in a bed and breakfast for some time, so the Burnt Toast Inn was something of an experiment for us. Very close to downtown and easy parking. But the key to the place is the innkeeper, Sarah. There are little wonderful touches all around - soaps in the bathroom, basket of "treats" (healthy and organic!) in the...

My husband and I stayed here for just one night on a weekend home to visit my parents. Sarah was super friendly and accommodating, the decor was unique and quirky, and the bed in the Attic Suite was amazing... maybe it was because we were so tired, but 2 hours disappeared from my life and I have no idea where...

My sister and I stayed in Burnt Toast for 2 nights. After travelling the world for the last 3 years and stayed in many different places, I must stay this was by far one of the best and clean B&B I ever stayed in. The house is furnished with so many beautiful and fascinating decorations. Breakfast was beautiful and Sarah...

Brief 2 night stay during marathon weekend. Great location, comfortable rooms, albeit shared bathroom (but was travelling with a friend). Missed breakfast on both days due to early starts. Sarah made us all feel very welcome.

Couldnt get a room at the Inn and stayed in the north room in the Washington House. Incredibly close to downtowm, a very nice walk. Room was wonderful with bathroom access outside the bedroom. Sarah has tastefully furnished the house, with a velvet curtain separating the north room in the back from the room and its bathroom in the front....

Most B&Bs I know are tastefully furnished, but the Burnt Toast is fun and quirky too. And totally comfortable! There are places to kick off your shoes (please) and flop. I'd have felt at home if my home were as much fun to be in. Taking comfort to the max, the owner, Sarah, immediately made sure I had plenty of...

My wife and I spent a long week-end at the Burnt Toast Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. This B & B is a gem! We were greeted by the Innkeeper, Sarah, and her welcoming committee, Bo and Buddy, and instantly made to feel welcome. Our room the Master Suite, was well appointed and very clean. Sarah thought of everything that...

We have stayed at the Burnt Toast five times so far while visiting our daughter at UMich. We have found both the Williams house and Washington House incredibly comfortable and Sarah is a terrific host. She thinks of every detail and has everything readily available in or near the rooms such as shampoos, soaps, extra washcloths, pod style coffee makers,...
