My wife and I booked a balcony view suite, but when we showed up were given the keys to a tiny room with a filthy carpet and disgusting bathroom. The front desk said nothing about the change, much less offered a reduction in price - they just shiftily handed us the keys hoping we somehow wouldn't notice. We did, and we left.

We stayed here for Carnival and had a blast! The property is not fancy, but it's a really cool experience and the rooms and clean and comfortable and offer a beautiful view of the city. The staff are really nice, and were more than willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel also had a convenience store at the bottom, which came in handy. Also, after a long time traveling though Bolivia, it was helpful to find a place that could do laundry cheaply and quickly and exchange money as well. Plus, it had strong wifi and was centrally located. It's a no-frills hotel, but I would definitely recommend it!

Rooms ok but quite noisy daytime because of building work. At night noise from other parts of hotel carries so earplugs ensure sound sleep. Staff could not have been more helpful, and friendly. Breakfast ok. The ground floor entrance area was a bit cluttered with merchandise from the adjoining shop/store and Christmas decorations - this could compromise fire escape safety in our view.

The hotel is pretty shabby inventory is old. Tables and chairs of plasic and a smell of chlorine on the toilet. For the water you have to pay. The guy at the reception didn't speak a word English. I think in the center close to plase des armas are the bether hotels.

It's a great location with nice views but the hotel is really just ok. Fantastic place for carnaval because the overlooks the final plaza. It's right next to the main church and has a good view of the city. It's nothing fancy. The cafe on the top floor would be nice, if it was ever open.

We stayed one night on our way through to the Salt Flats. The Hotel was decent, fairly clean and had a, comfortable bed, hot water, ad not bad Wi-Fi. The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Location is right down town in front of the square but they found us secure parking. Breakfast in the morning was barely average. Good for1 night stay on way through.
