Stayed here for 10 nights staff were helpful, bedroom comfortable, bathroom could do with a little updating. Breakfast served between 7 - 10am basic but nice with fresh fruit juice. Overall good stay would come back.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a G Adventures tour. The hotel is in an excellent location just off the main square. It has nice courtyards for relaxing in. The rooms are not like the management photos - much more basic. We had a twin room and the springs had broken through the mattress and scratched me...

The decor is very interesting with ornate fountains in the courtyard. But the location is very good 30 seconds from the main square close to the market and restaurants. The breakfast has a good selection of fruit, toast, cake, eggs, teas and coffee. The rooms are comfortable if a little bit dark, and there is good hot water. Unfortunately the...

Walking into the Independencia Hotel was like stepping back in time 100 years. The facilities are modern enough but the general atmosphere is very old fashioned. There are grand staircases, a spiral staircase, elegant lounges, open air courtyards surrounded by chairs, and so on. Our double room was fine, if a little cramped. There is a bar fridge but ours...

Hotel is in a great location - easy access to atms, shops, restaurants, market etc Rooms are spacious and the courtyard is great to rest & relax. Buffet breakfast is good. Bathrooms are old. You can access a safe at reception.

Great location (1/2 block from main square). Hotel is relatively old, as well as the other hotels in the city, yet no upkeep has been performed in a while. Asked for a quiet room and was assigned 311. Far away from everyone but you can still hear the toilets and showers from other rooms. Came in the winter so it...

Very nice pretty hotel in the centre of Sucre. Half a block away from the main square. Good sized rooms, average wifi connection (bad at times) - nice courtyard layout and open plan. Lots of flowers and trees.

This is a lovely hotel just a minutes walk from the main city square in Sucre and very close to lots of cafés, restaurants and bars and all the main sights. The hotel bedrooms surround pleasant little courtyards and you can see that when this was originally a house it was very grand. The rooms themselves are basic but clean...

The location is perfect - just off the main square in Sucre. The breakfast fare is decent and the courtyard is pretty to hang out in. Some of the corner rooms are slightly small (twin rooms). Free Wifi. Overall recommended

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a G adventures tour. First impression was good- it's a nice looking hotel inside with nice courtyard areas and places to sit. Room was fine, clean & an ok size. We moved room after the first night as there was a leak in our room- there was a hole in the ceiling!...
