We had an amazing stay at Parador Santa Maria la Real. The building itself is old colonial style, very well maintained and charming. The rooms are very big and elegant, food is great and the service is excellent. It is very well located next to all the main attractions in Sucre. The owner of the hotel even showed us around...

central position, historical location, great attention to details, elegant and sofisticated. The kind Staff (Maria Eugenia in particularly) is very efficient and availale. The hotel seems a precious luxury castle. fantastic room (we had a junior suite and I recommend it). We arrived very early in the morning, from Uyuny Salar, and we had a room at 9.00: great! Delicious...

Wow! What a beautiful place, elegant and comfortable. The hotel is a former colonial house and it even has its own private museum full of paintings, furniture and artifacts from the begining of its history. The owner, Luis, is a very welcoming host and always finds time to make your stay special and give you all the local information and...

I stayed 2 nights with my wife at Parador Santa Maria La Real. the hotel is a 15th century old building. it was the Spain Embassy in Surce before. Full of antiques and beautiful colonial architecture. Wifi, Spa, jacuzzi are available. Breakfast is delicious with best pastries. The locals knows this...

The hotel is a beautifully restored Spanish Colonial building conveniently located in Sucre. The owners took great care with the restoration and it shows. The details such as reclaimed doors and window shutters and the antique furnishings and art work gave the hotel a grand atmosphere. We stayed during the Festival which may explain why it felt as though they...

A great hotel located in a very well preserved colonial building just a block from the main square. Nicely decorated rooms, a lovely inner yard, a huge roof terrace with a stoning view over Sucre, even a mini museum in the cellar. Some things to improve: rid off from the old grandmas appartement smell in the rooms, ensure that there...

This is a beautifully presented hotel , with many open courtyards , everywhere you look there are antiques from the furniture to the wall hangings and beds( very comfy and large). There is a high terrace to enjoy the sunset from where you can also see the cathedral tower and a slightly lower one to enjoy a glass of wine....

This is without a doubt the best hotel in Sucre. From the owners (Luis and Sandra) to all of the staff, everybody is so nice and friendly. Luis gave us a truly wonderful tour of the hotel (the building just goes on and on - there's so many twists and turns and hidden rooms on each level) and he explained...
