Stayed here for nine nights and overall really enjoyed the experience. Breakfast served from 7 - 10 had a variety of pastries and juices. Room quite nice with comfortable beds only downside was the bathroom had no door so a strategically placed bedsheet became quite useful. Amazing shower and very clean. All staff were very helpful and went above and...

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful hotel and we thought it was great value! We had a stunning Colonial suit that had a massive clawfoot bath and great furniture - quite authentic. The staff of the hotel is lovely and helpful. Only problem we had was noisy neighbours as the rooms face courtyard they can be a bit noisy.

My wife and I were in Sucre to help with the beauty contest, Miss Chuquisaca 2016. We stayed at the famous Hotel Monasterio just steps away form the main plaza with all the history of this ancient city at the heart of South American independence. The hotel authentically reflects all of the rich history of the city at every step....

This was a great choice in Sucre. Location is fantastic, 2 blocks away from the main square. Plenty of restaurant choices nearby. The hotel is a historic building in downtown, well decorated, colonial style. The room is big , clean, good bathroom with hot shower, tv. View to the central patio. Staff was very helpful, showed me how to get...

The staff told us this monastery (now converted into a charming hotel) once housed a group of brothers living in the heart of the Spanish colonial city of Sucre; it has a fantastic motif with archangels adorning the walls of the common areas and even a confessional in one of the enclosed courtyards. The American breakfast was spectacular, the beds...

Perfectly located. Nice colonial style with secluded central court and breakfast terrace and very clean. Standard rooms are a little bit basic. Same for the breakfast. The bed however was worn out and by no means comfortable. What a pity. Nice roof terrace at sunset.

Wonderful location in the heart of the historic district in this beautiful city. Lovingly restored monastery from the Spanish era - many original furnishings & paintings. Very nice rooms with baths & terrific staff. Just beware of the rooms on the main lobby, which can be quite noisy. Climb the spiral staircase to the rooftop sitting area for a great...

We stayed at hotel monasterio for one night arriving early after a night bus from La Paz, we were able to check in and have our room immediately ( well ahead of regular check-in time) which was greatly appreciated as we were in much need of a hot shower and freshen up. We found the hotel to be very clean,...
