This place is quite basic but we received a friendly welcome. Its decent value and the showers are hot hot hot. Towels provided and plenty of warm bedding. Generally very clean and small breakfast provided so I really can't complain. Of course it's cold at night but this is south america and i haven't once seen central heating!

Stayed one night in a double room with private bathroom, cost 120bob. The room was functional with a decent wet room hot and powerful shower. The bed has about 5 blankets, necessary for the cold but feels like sleeping under concrete! The wifi signal is non existent in the room, only works in common areas. The breakfast was very poor,...

Very available and sympathetic staff in this family run hostal in the center of Potosi. The rooms and beds are not in the best shape but still very decent with (very) hot water and wifi available. A great bargain just a few blocks from the city's historical center...

Potosí has little to offer in terms of good- value hostels. Most rooms are dark and depressing here. Breakfast is humble with 2 breads, jam, and coffee. The only OK was shower. Anyway one night stay is enough for Potosi.

First we checked the hostel on the other side of the street which was a nice hostel with beautiful rooms but humid and cold. Decided to stay in this hostel which offered a double room with private bathroom for 90 bobs. Room was clean and good enough for 1 night stay. The bathroom was very cold and toilet was falling...

For 90 bs per night for the room, we had a windowless private double opening into a courtyard with a very weak lock on the door, a shared bathroom a short outdoor walk away, a breakfast of two pieces of bread with tea/coffee, and the hottest shower I've taken in all of South America. There's no heating in the room,...

we travel three friends and a hostel was fully booked, so we went to this hostel just across the road and it is ok. 40 per person, good wi fi, 24 hours hot shower, 5 warm blankets and breakfast included. Owners are very nice and helpful. Made a small eucalyptus fire in lobby area, so it smelled good. It is...

We stayed here for two nights in October 2013. We paid 110 Bs for a matrimonial (double bed) with an in room bath and breakfast. The room was clean, but dark and dingy. The bathroom was also stinky due to an open vent. (If you keep the door shut, it's ok). The room was also freezing (fairly typical for Potosi),...

Not a cosy hostel but meet basic expectations: - centrally located - clean - quiet There is free internet and free but basic breakfast There is no kitchen which is strange for an hostel This is an overall good value for this price and if you stay 1-2 nights in Potosi.
