For 100 bolivianos a night for a double room, this place is pretty cheap — the rooms are spartan but warm and clean, the beds are really comfortable, showers are hot. Staff were very attentive to my friend when he was ill and gave tea and blankets without being asked, and also arranged our tour to the mines and the...

Feel a bit bad saying this as the people who work there are friendly and welcoming, but the place doesn't really feel very loved. My room was a single with an adjoining bathroom but the shower looked dangerous with open wiring everywhere. The room was very dank and depressing with no window. The bedside lamp didnt work and nor did...

Then was told about San Marcos. Very glad I was as it was a word of difference: very friendly staff who couldn't seem to...

Average Hostal but with the plus of a gas stove in the room and hot shower, an almost unique combination for budget places like this. Good location too. We had a double room with bathroom, clean and spacious enough. WiFi included, breakfast served in a fully decorated “cappella sistina style” room!

lovely and comfortable hostal. Jackie, the owner, is a fantastic lady. She was so helpful and nice. Prices are excellent. Rooms are clean, with wifi perfectly working, comfortable, all have hot shower and the place is only 10 minutes walk from the main attractions in Potosì. I would definitely recommend it to any budget traveller.
