It is just an ordinary hotel. That said it is adequate and very clean. The maintance is excellent. We had a room that to me stepped out of the 1950's. I think it was family room, with separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds. If you are interested in a trip across southern Bolivia see...

No complaints. No frills. Good accommodation. In fact, as two singles we had a bonus of 2 bedrooms so that was nice. It is an uphill walk from here to the main square (about 20 minutes depending on how well you walk given the altitude) - and quite a walk. Afterall, this is now over 4000 m in altitude. You...

Family run hotel in walking distance from the railway station; taxi to the centre less than US$1. Courtyard type - typical for smaller hotels in South America - with all advantages and disadvantages. Good heating, good beds, hot water; safe not working. Large regional clientele, simple but correct breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Cima Argentum. We had planned to stay only one night but because of road blocks we had to stay a extra night. The staff was very helpful getting us the information needed to travel on and both persons spoke English. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious. It had also a...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Uyuni. The hotel is not up to much, a large place around a courtyard. The downstairs room 1 was gloomy and stuffy and although clean was very tired and worn. The walk into town is not too steep but given the altitude is plenty steep enough. We didnt find the...

Friendly staff in a conveniently located hotel near all the main attraction However drawback is some of the rooms have no windows or air conditioning and can be very hot and clammy Breakfast can be a disappointment with tepid/cold eggs as a standard

It is a super B&B or more like a hotel. We had a small apartment for 450bs a night, and the kitchen is outstanding...... And very good price. If we come back to potosi this is our hotel 100%. And I can only recommend it to others that are coming to Bolivia

Arranged around a central courtyard, rooms are quiet and well appointed for the price range. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the waiting staff in the restaurant very attentive. It's not too far from the main attractions, maybe about 20 slow minutes uphill going,(the city is 4,200m above sea level!) and 10 minutes downhill coming back. Good value...

We stopped in Potosi on our way from La Paz to Uyuni. Personally, I didn't have any expectations for Potosi but it's a gorgeous city with some amazing architecture! This hotel is within walking distance of several squares and the staff could not be any nicer! They have on-site parking, a nice breakfast, and also assisted us with setting up...

We stayed in one of the apartments. The place was clean, always heated, and the showers were hot. The hotel was not full at all during our stay (low season). The staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast is a bit simple but there was still enough choice for all of us to end up quite content. They also have a...
