Nice Hotel, with a lot of great details, you feel like in a big House. Great service. There is many interesting and couse places. I like the garden and looking into different environments. Nice for couples.
I chose this hotel for an extended stay when I was visiting my son at a university nearby. I thought it looked unique and comfortable, and this turned out to be true. The theme of this hotel is a medieval castle, and the property has many great details that go along with the theme, from decor, to music, to the costumes worn by the staff. That being said, they do have the modern comforts you want such as comfortable bedding and climate control and a very hearty included breakfast. One of the features I enjoyed most about the hotel was the courtyard. It's nice to sit there when you want a break from being in your room or doing tourist activities. The staff is friendly and very attentive, and many of them speak English well, in case your Spanish is limited. The location is within walking distance of many tourist sites. There's a nice small pizza restaurant next door, or you can also order room service or find many other restaurants within walking distance.Great stay!…
So there are hotels, and then there are HOTELS. This is a very unique, small boutique hotel located in the very peaceful Borolo Region of Italy. I am not sure how many rooms that it has, but it is less than 20. The owner/chef has experience living and working in California, so she is good for English speakers and Italians both. The staff are very professional and nice. The food is to die for! We stayed for two days and did breakfast and dinner both days. I have serious food allergies to gluten and milk and cheese, and instead of throwing a gluten free pasta at me, everything in our 5-6 course dinner was designed with me in mind. There were gorgeous pate plates, sorbet, vegetables and meats, and always something that I could have for desert. The wine menu was excellent, and since the eggs at the breakfast buffet (best one out of all of our hotels in Italy) had milk, they happily made me plain ones with a smile. That's just the food! We stayed in one of the nicer suites, and we had a huge living room area, a beautiful bedroom, and two bathrooms. Everything was restored to the original building and was rich in tapestries, original artwork and antiques. I think it took about 5 years for them to restore the building, and it shows in every detail. The owner was also wonderful in her tips for what to do for the day, and suggested a lovely place to eat lunch where they did wine tasting, as well as gave us driving and visiting suggestions for the day that we left. Really romantic setting eating on the outdoor dining patio at night. They have a pool although we didn't use it, and an elevator if you need it. Truly gracious service. Wonderful. We will be back!…
After a day of touring from Santiago to Vina del Mar before going on a cruise I had booked this very different Boutique Hotel which is easy to reach and looks very interesting . Our arrival was great and we had lots of hands helping us with suitcases . The castle is about 100 years old but was completely renovated and set up as a Hotel only a couple of years ago . . When you arrive you think you are in a very nice old castle , the owner has done a great job finding original items and a couple of the staff is in full medieval clothing to give it this feel of authenticity . The rooms are on the smaller size but very clean and the bedding is great , compared to other places we stayed in Vina it also was nice and quiet for a very good sleep . A simple breakfast was included in the very good price of the rooms. The staff was excellent . All by all this was a fantastic experience which we can whole heartedly recommend to others before of after a cruise or on a beach holiday .…
