This is our second time staying at the Ghaya Grand. It's located away from the main tourist areas but is easily accessible.
We had a two bedroom apartment which was on the 20th floor. The apartment was spacious and clean. Although this is geared for self catering the beds are made each day and clean towels are provided.
We booked a B&B package which includes a buffet breakfast. We ate in the restaurant on the first couple of days but we're very disappointed that the hot food was not so hot. We raised our concerns and were offered a freshly cooked breakfast either in our apartment or in the lobby bar area. We chose to eat in the lobby area for the remainder of our stay and were very happy with the breakfasts that were served.
I would like to especially thank Swapnil and his team who looked after us. They were 1st class. They even gave us a very nice Bon Voyage card at the end of our stay along with some freshly prepared cakes which was very kind and thoughtful.
The pool area is totally shaded which I'm sure in the Summer months is beneficial. There are sun bathing areas located above the pool area which are easily accessible.The spa area and gym are also very good.
Overall the Ghaya Grand is an excellent hotel and we will definitely stay there again and would recommend as a good alternative to the higher priced hotels in Dubai.

We are one of frequent staycationers, I must say. Whenever time permits, we always seek good rating hotels & of course value for money like Ghaya Grand Hotel. Honestly, it was not our 1st choice but we believe everything happens for a reason. Our fate directed us to book this amazing hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom hotel apartment. I could say that the 5 star rating speaks for itself. We commend all the staff from the polite concierge, receptionists (special mention to Ms. Regine & Ms. Ferlita who assisted us during the check in & check out, it was the smoothest that we have ever encountered), nice housekeeping staff to the super efficient & polite lifeguards who helped my daughter conquer her fears on getting to the water. This hotel deserves to be on top when it comes to excellent service especially during this pandemic. Everything was dealt with the highest quality & practiced the service level standard from sanitizing our luggages to the rooms with a sticker marked sanitized. Everything that we requested for arrived in time & maintenance were handled with utmost care & promptness. We enjoyed our EID Seafood dinner celebration at the Fusion Multi Cuisine, we rate this restaurant average as a whole. For the location, we find it just right because City Center Me'aisem is just a 15 minute walk. Our stay would be super perfect if there's an available clothes dryer but we still managed to do the laundry and let them dry well using whatever can be used. There is a limited plugs sockets & switches as well & the not so high speed internet connection which is quite a challenge for those who thought of working during a staycation, but we managed to deal with it. Other than those mentioned, everything's perfect and we will always choose to return back in this property. We will also add this to our most recommended staycation destination to our friends and colleagues.

Definitely the best of my stays in the UAE so far! Amazing time, 12 days spent in comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Really nice clean and quiet room. We 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here from 07.02.2020 to 14.02.2020 and we were in one bed room apartment.
As we reached hotel @12.30 AM on 7th, we were not allotted room until one night room rent was paid ( Informed by reception staff that we have arrived too earlier than normal check in time and they can't allocate room with out payment).
One bed room fully furnished apartment has got kitchen, leaving area, bedroom and toilet which are very spacious.
Mr Sadiq was our house keeping in charge who made sure that apartment is kept clean.
Hotel is located far away from the main city hence it will burn our pocket paying to the taxi🚕 despite of free shuttle from hotel to very few locations and at very less interval.

Myself and my girlfriend had booked into this hotel for 3 nights. We were upgraded to an executive suite due to my genius rating with booking.com. The pictures of the room on the website looked great and we were excited. Unfortunately the pictures did not match the room at all. On entry it was dark and dreary inside. The bath towel was damp and had an awful smell off it. The room itself was quite closed in. We went down to reception to tell them it was not what we were expecting at all and we were told that they had nothing else available to look at as the rooms were rented out for long term stays. The pool is a disaster as the sun cannot reach it at all due to being enclosed by 3 big towers. The website states that JBR is a 10minute drive away and there are regular shuttle bus services to these places. This is not true. JBR is a 20 minute drive away and the bus service goes once a day which is not of much use to anyone really. Upon telling the receptionist Mai that we wished to check out 2 days early after one night she told me that they did not wish for us to leave and we could have any room we wanted. Although this was a nice gesture I am not sure how all these rooms became available overnight as this was apparently not possible the day before. Overall just a really disappointing night spent here. Nowhere near 5 a star standard hotel.

My family and I stayed here for the Christmas holidays ( 4 days) and really enjoyed our stay in their apartment. Rooms were simply decorated but very exquisite and modern with enough space for everybody to wonder about. Facilities were in good shape and worked perfectly during our stay. We particularly loved their restaurant ‘s interior and the wide variety for breakfast. Staff were very professional and polite. They allowed us to check in early (9am) and check out late (3pm) without any extra charges( which demonstrated their sensitivity to customer needs). The location was great too, close to a city center, kid’s playground and other shopping centers though most part of the area was under construction.
Will stay here again and recommend this hotel apartment for family getaways.

I recently visited Dubai as part of the IPL Broadcasting Crew, and we stayed at the Ghaya Grand hotel, in a Bio Secure Bubble. Had to adhere to a strict protocol of isolation from the outside world, in which the hotel was of great help and made our stay less stressful.
Ghaya Grand is a great hotel with ample facilities, friendly staff and very decent rooms. The room has everything you would expect of a 5 star accomodation, and very plush interiors. Hotel has a professional Gym with all kinds of weights, machines and equipment required for different kind of workouts, be it strength training, cardio, or yoga.
But the best part about the hotel is the extremely friendly staff. To begin with, Alaa. What an accomodating, polite, courteous, resourceful guy. He is someone who would not let you leave the restaurant without being satisfied, and with a full stomach! At times, even when I have arrived a little late for breakfast from my morning workout, he makes it a point to get me all the ingredients & items as part of my "protein-rich" diet. He is very understanding in his attitude towards the guests and that's what makes him such a lovable personality.
Coming to the Gym, how can I forget Beharu,a very kind-hearted and funny guy! A thorough professional at work, he guides me through my workout, correcting my weightlifting techniques and making me familiar with new, effective exercises. He also helps me cool down and stretch after my workout, which helps relieve the stiffness of the body.
Another one of my favorites is Dilan, from housekeeping. He makes it a point to put in extra efforts to make my room everyday, as he understands that being in isolation, we spend a longer part of our time in the room itself. He makes sure the tea/coffee sachets are refilled everyday, the toiletries kept if exhausted, proper cleaning of the room, usage of a room freshener, laundry bags/slips kept, and replenishing the water bottles.
Even others like Abhishek, Akansha, Pratima, Felita, and Preeti have been really helpful, in my limited interaction with them. It is this staff of the Ghaya Grand which makes the hotel really worth it!

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment as a family before leaving Dubai. From the moment we stepped in, the team made us feel completely at home. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with super comfortable bedding, and luxurious bathrooms.
Housekeeping are really attentive, courteous and adhering to the hygiene standards emphasized more during this period.
Room service is really good and the price is very decent (recommend highly the Butter Chicken). If it wasn't for Covid, we would have loved to try the various restaurants.
Mr. Olwen, the General Manager impressed us a lot as he is a people's person and ready to help in any situation.
The minimarket and pharmacy in the reception are very convenient and the parking is very spacious. At the end of our stay, the pool was re-opened and it was a pleasure as it's temperature controlled and in the shade, despite being outside. Close proximity to City Centre Meisaam made it convenient for shopping. As hoteliers ourselves, this hotel exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short or long stay.

Their staffs are friendly especially fakira chouhan who was so concerned about my well being here. He made sure I felt comfort and my rooms well cleaned and everything I want in my room is catered for. will definitely come back.

My mother and I stayed at the Ghaya for six nights for a really reasonably price via on the beach.com.
On arrival the lobby is very impressive oozing quality and class. Our room was very spacious for two people and the room facilities are endless. On arrival our bags were carried to the room where a member of staff showed us how to use all the appliances / lights etc and presented us with a map of Dubai. Here we learned about the free shuttle bus to the malls and beaches! By day three we still hadn’t paid for a taxi to explore Dubai and had used the hotel free buses.
The breakfast was really everything you could imagine. Endless food from 6-10.30 catering for all holiday goers. The manager Alaa greeted us most mornings to check in on our stay be to made ya feel so very welcome.
During our visit we used the the gym dally and evening tried out the spa.
The pool area is mostly shaded but the terrace is highly spacious and has the sun all day so you can choose which you would prefer.
Over all this was a fabulous stay and I would recommend this hotel. Although a little out the way for the airport it only took 30minutes max in a taxi which is very reasonable for the holiday price.

We had a fridge in our room but no microwave as we were staying in the hotel but there were some apartments in this complex so they might also have a microwave but it’s best to check directly with the hotel to be sure
I believe all rooms are non-smoking. But i could be wrong.
if you want a suite, you need to pay for one.
Probably best to ask the hotel directly rather than on TA.
