the location of the hotel is most convenient when the transit time is around 8 to 10 hours. The rooms are comfortable to rest and refresh yourselves and it is quiet as outside noise is completely sealed. Perhaps for the price some edible food maybe added in addition to just coffee or tea as the short duration can be use efficiently instead of roaming outside to buy food.

For those that follow me, you know I'm a fan of this product, particularly the executive room offering. From the meet and greet at the airplane gate (which always makes one feel welcome seeing that sign with your name on it), to the zipping through internal airport security (many don't realize even in transit in Dubai you clear security), to being in a big, clean comfy room with amenities within 15 minutes of getting off a long international flight, well, it's a win win win for me. Staff are incredibly polite, and the rooms are soundproof. Touches like full Emirates first class amenities (tooth brush kits, combs, toiletries and sewing kits), to massage chairs in room, bath and shower, coffee station, two desks and high speed internet, I get a lot of work done on my stopovers. In gate B, fifty or so meters from the train elevators, even if you are traveling out of A terminal or C , you are 15 - 20 minutes from the gate. The desk can have a golf cart waiting for you outside the elevator to whisk you towards gate C if you wish. There is a nice pool free for guests, a sauna, and a jacuzzi. Tge rooms provide slippers and robes. All food and drinks at the lounge are free, so if you don't have airline lounge access, you can eat and drink a big chunk of your hotel bill (beers can be in the 12$ to 15$ range in resteraunts in the airport... you have been warned). There's a full business service as well. Elevators down tge hall from reception go right to the Emirates business and first class lounges. All in all, for me, I often use this over going into Dubai and adding all the pickup, journey time and having to get to the airport hours before a flight. Staying in the terminal means 15 minutes before boarding, I leave my hotel room! Oh, and you have time to shop all available stores! WIN!

I have stayed at the Dubai International Hotel numerous times and have found it to be an excellent place to stay if you have a stopover, whikst tfansiting through Dubai airport.
It might be a little ore expensive compared to some of the airport hotel options available, but for the location, convenience, quality of the room and speed through which the meet and greet service get you from the airport, through security clearance to check in is well worth the extra cost.
Rooms are of a high standard and you will have everything you need in the room itself. The hotel staff have covered every travellers needs, from tooth brushes, shaving kits, iron and ironing board, fruit and water.
Really cannot complain and will continue to stay during my short stopovers through Duabi International Airport

When trying to book online, it said all rooms were sold out- and I was nervous we wouldn’t have anywhere to properly rest and shower with our little kids. It turned out they had availability and were able to accommodate all of us in an executive room which was a bit more but definitely worth it- unlimited food, service was 10/10 and we used the pool, jacuzzi and Hamam that were a real treat. We booked the executive room and while it is somewhat expensive, it was totally worth it. Gave us a much needed break during our long transit in Dubai. The entire staff came together to provide us with amazing service. The rooms were spacious and quiet with all the necessary amenities -- blackout curtains, toothbrushes, shaving kits, slippers, etc.
The executive lounge staff was friendly and the food delicious. Another great thing was that we left the hotel just an hour before our flight departed since security/immigration was not needed as we were inside the airport terminal itself. Highly recommend this hotel for longer transit times. You can book it only for the number of hours you expect to need it for.

Coming from Phuket we therefore had almost 10 hours stay. We have therefore booked an executive room for 7 - 12 hours, for AED 808.00.
The pick-up service from the arrival gate worked excellently. We were expected with a name tag and escorted to the hotel. However, the journey was VERY, VERY long, as is often the case at DXB Airport. Therefore, I would have liked to see one of the numerous vehicles standing around, especially since no elevator or escalator had to be used.
The check-in was completely easy and we were also shown right away where the executive lounge is that we were allowed to use. The escort then took us to the room and then recovery was called.
Frankly, we were completely flashed by the size and equipment of the carpenter. A huge room, a really gigantic bed and also toilet and shower have left nothing to be desired. The "monster massage chair was actually able to put all the bones back where they belonged.
Unfortunately, we were totally fed up with 3 weeks of all-in vacation and the fantastic food in the Emirates business and unfortunately we didn't want/couldn't eat anymore.
After an excellent night we had breakfast at least in the lounge (we were the only ones). I wanted a three-egg omelette and my wife a hard-boiled egg. I have never been asked if I want my omelette well-done or medium. I chose Medium. After a relatively short time everything was brought. Fantastically arranged and very tasty.
After studying the menu, I regretted not eating anything the night before, especially since everything would have been inclusive. But unfortunately, nothing went in, into the stomach.
Conclusion: I was very sorry that we did not book this overnight stay in the past 9 trips. Much more pleasant and quiet than in Emirates' always very crowded BusinessLounge. The Firstclass lounge may play in a different league, but Emirates Firstclass tickets have a price that is about 3 times higher than a Businessclass ticket. We have experienced 2 x complete flights (Maldives & Thailand) and 2 x partial routes with upgrades in the First. Yes, an experience, but not a must have if you're not Elon Musk.
Overall, we were very enthusiastic, loved everything and will book the hotel again if the path leads us to Dubai despite old age.

I liked to have a hotel within the airport for my layover in Dubai, unfortunately the house keeping staff is working 24/7 producing so much noise that you cannot find any sleep. With this hotel, you have flexible checkin- and checkout times to perfectly match your layover times - with seemed like a big benefit to me, but causes the hotel to clean up rooms at any time of the day, as guest checkin and checkout at any times of the day. We were bothered with noise from the cleaning process, including vacuum cleaners but also staff yelling at each other over the whole stay, so there was no chance of any sleep. We payed around 200 USD for 8 hours in which we could not find any rest, so the hotel was not worth the money.

We had to book this room since Emirate's decided we weren't applicable for the complimentary room for over 10 hour layover. Since I was traveling with my family (including a 7-uyear old child) I had to make it work. The Executive Suite isn't cheap but when you offset 16 hours of food and drink for 3 people, it actually works out great value. The room was amazing (quietest room we have ever slept in depsite it being in between a load of runways!, the staff were unbeliavbly helpful and courteous and we will actually plan our trips through Dubai with a view to doing it again.

A very comfortable and civilised way to deal with a nearly 12 hour gap between flights .
The hotel was expensive, but much cheaper than taking a business class flight (which were in any case heavily booked and hard to get) - we had a good nights sleep and appreciated the little luxuries in the room including pod coffee and a full array of bathroom resources such as toothbrush, comb etc. All good for people travelling with only one change of clothes while our suitcases magically moved from one flight to another.
The meet and greet service was invaluable, as our arrival gate was in a different terminal to the hotel. Although we were sent a map and instructions on how to find our hotel, having someone meet you and walk you through the labyrinthine airport late at night, made life so much easier.

Maybe for part of the journey if you ask when booking - depends where your plane lands. DXB is a HUGE airport. If you have mobility issue I assume you have already booked wheelchair assistance.
