I do not know where to start, I recently stayed for 8 nights at the Grosvenor House Dubai and my experience was wonderful. Even before we arrived the communication was outstanding. We were collected at Dubai airport and taken to the hotel. We had arrived very early yet the hotel had our room ready for us. The room was amazing as were all the facilities we tried. Both my wife and I were overwhelmed by the professionalism of the staff we encountered. A special thanks to Gamal and Ruskin on reception always very helpful. We stayed in an Executive room which allowed us access to the 5th Floor Lounge. We enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks and snacks there. We always received a warm welcome from the staff, and after day one they our names, drinks orders and our preferences, simply brilliant. They even assisted with printing our numbers for a race we were running in Dubai. The standard of foods was outstanding too, not the usual lounge fair, very healthy fresh options, unfortunately the cakes for afternoon tea were too good and I had a few too many. Breakfast was always outstanding, a great way to start our day. Thanks to Robin and his team Arun, Kavindi, Amit, Vivek and the rest. I would really recommend booking an executive room, it is well worth the extra money. We dined in Ruya, absolutely outstanding Chef Colin has created some amazing dishes. Turkish would not be my first option normally but after Ruya I may have to rethink that. Great food, wonderful service and an amazing atmosphere. We dined in Indego and experienced the taster menu with wine, simply amazing. The food was taken to another level and the service we received from Natasha, Errol and Jerry was outstanding. The manager on the evening of 15th June really made our experience memorable, just wonderful. We dined in Siddharta Lounge and again experienced amazing food in wonderful surroundings. The service again was outstanding. Each day we passed the Concierge team in Tower 2 we always received a warm greeting and offers for any tasks or issues we were encountering. We wife enjoyed a spa treatment on the 4th floor of tower 2, wonderful. We used the facilities at the Royal Meridien too, enjoying the grounds and the pools. The staff there too were outstanding, special mention to Daney and Sharif who always greeted us when we arrived and nothing was too much for them. Some days we walked to the Royal Meridien instead of taking the frequent shuttle bus and when we approached the entrance the security man Ehad always came out of his booth to ask us how we were, he always made us feel so welcome. Once he had established we were guests from the Grosvenor he greeted every single time. Please pass on my thanks to the management team for creating such a wonderful hotel to stay in, the staff were all well trained but it was clear they actually enjoyed working at the Grosvenor. All these experiences made our trip so memorable and we will definitely be visiting the Grosvenor House again, it was amazing. Thank you.

This is our 3rd visit to the Grosvenor House and we’re delighted we chose it again. It was 8 years since we last stayed here and it’s still just as good. We did have a few minor niggles on the 1st day but these were rectified very quickly by the fantastic front of house team - Gamal & Laura who are a credit to the Marriott Group. I also need to mention the staff in Sloanes who work tirelessly to look after the guests. The hotel has put in place all the necessary covid precautions but this makes a lot more work for the staff. I don’t think I’ve seen a team of people work harder, especially in the Dubai heat. If you stay at the grosvenor you can use all the facilities of the royal meridien which means the best of both worlds. For me the grosvenor is slightly more sophisticated than the royal meridien but the resort facilities of the meridien are fantastic. Finally a thank you to Laura & Gamal for my wife’s birthday cake, flowers and wine which was very generous. My only suggestion and this is for the Marriott/Starwood Group rather than the Grosvenor itself is to embrace some environmental initiatives. It’s time to ditch plastic straws, single use plastic toiletries and plastic bottles of water.

I read a lot of great reviews of the Grosvenor House and decided to book here for 2 nights. I now fully regret spending the money to stay here. Don’t get me wrong…the convenient location to the Metro Station, the Dubai Marina, and the shuttle to Le Meridien for the beach usage was great but was negated by the very poor service. As a Marriott Gold member, I thought it was a bonus to being upgraded to the Suite Apartment in Tower 1 but boy was I wrong. Outlooking my window I could see that there was construction but didn’t think about the ramifications on that until when I came back at night and heard the noise going on. I am disappointed that the front desk did not mention of the potential noise and ask if I was okay with that. When it came time to change, I don’t understand in that situation why you wouldn’t open up the opportunity for the guest to stay in tower 2 if they wanted to. The corner suite in tower 1 was nice but did take 1 hour to sort everything out. Also, I did ask for a shoe shine service just to test out the response time and that also was very disappointing. Waited for the butler for about 15 mins before I texted marriott app to see the status. Lastly, I wanted to add gift card to my final bill and had mentioned that in the Marriott app the prior night and gave the information. However when it came to checking out, there was no mention of the gift card and had to re-provide the information. Breakfast was good and room service was quick. But overall I would say to avoid this hotel until they provide better service. Just very disappointing!

We were excited and had strong expectations for the hotel given the TripAdvisor score/reviews and the hotel did not disappoint! From the second we arrived we were incredibly looked after by every single staff member. Their thoughfulness, kindness and helpfulness was second to none. The hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean and the shuttle bus very regular. The food was also excellent, with great variety and a high standard at all eateries. We hope to return and would never consider using a different hotel when in Dubai in the future. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful holiday!

Love this hotel! The staff are the best we’ve encountered anywhere in the world, from the second you arrive at the doors to the room attendants and waiters to the managers. The very best from them all. Big mention to Cindy and Deepak in Level 5, Richel in front of house and the best concierge ever …..but I forgot his name!! Facilities are superb, the spa, the gym, the use of the sister hotel over the road, the restaurants, the executive lounge, just everything. We stay in tower 2 in a premium room, giving access to the executive lounge (Level 5). Love it. Great view of the harbour and the area and a great view of the Atlantis on the palm. There is plenty of amenities in the room, from coffee maker, kettle and other drinks, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, separate shower and bath, tv, bathrobes, clock radio and always lots of water left by the room attendants. We visit this hotel every year and cannot wait to return. The absolute best staff and hotel in this area…….and we’ve been in a few!
