I would like to start by saying that I love this hotel. There are many things about this hotel that are unique and great such as the location and their hospitality. The staff is amazing, and their breakfast service is outstanding. I would like to particularly applaud the efforts of the head F&B Ms. Marrissa and her entire staff to make the breakfast experience memorable. While the reception staff needs a little polish, one needs to given them benefit of doubt due to the quality of some of the guests these people have to deal with every day. This hotel can’t be called a 4 or 5 star hotel however they do know their niche while catering to tourists expecting lower tariff with good wholesome breakfast and convenient location. Perhaps, this is why their food quality needs a serious overhaul. Lunch and dinner is very expensive for the quality and variety of food they serve. Many restaurants nearby probably reduces their incentive to improve the food quality. Rooms are good and clean and their large suite is particularly comfortable. Be early if staying on 18th floor. Dripping water is heard all day and night.

I am staying with my family since 10th of December. I am thoroughly enjoying my stay. The rooms are large, breakfast great and service excellent. The hotel is close to a lot of eating places. There are a lot of shops around the hotel. The metro rail station is just 5 minutes walk.

I came back from Dubai last night and have been compelled to write a review about the Park Regis Kris Kin hotel. I have been fortunate to visit Dubai on around 15-20 times and absolutely love the place. It was my first time staying at Park Regis Kris Kin and as it was classed as a 5 star hotel, I immediately thought I would have no issues with staying at this establishment with one of my colleagues. As usually 5 star in Dubai is a 6 star experience. Unfortunately and this is an honest review, this hotel is 3 star at best. We decided to go HB dining option as we had various meetings booked throughout the trip allowing us to relax and enjoy our evening meal in the hotel. We arrived flying throughout a 7 hour night flight and therefore were exhausted on arrival at the hotel, we were advised that as the hotel was at full capacity we would be required to wait for our rooms. Which is fine and understandable, whilst checking in the hotel required full payment of the daily charge of 80dhs per day. This I found bizarre as every hotel I have stayed in Dubai usually charge this at check out? But it was paid without questioning. During our 3 hour wait for our subsequent rooms, we were not even offered any water, again for a 5 star hotel unheard of? When we finally checked in, as we had half board option I naturally asked and assumed that would it be fine to dine in any of the two restaurants in the hotel, on which we were categorically told that we could only have our meal in one restaurant, which again for a 5 star establishment to be so rigid and unaccommodating surprised me. To stay for 4 days and be in a position to have no eating options again baffled me. While on the subject of food, the restaurant served buffet for breakfast on the ground floor and buffet for HB option on the 19th floor in the evening. Options were very limited and pretty much the same everyday, the hotel seem to be confused whether they are serving the predominately Indian guests or international guests? Again for a 5 star hotel, it’s standard to have at least 4-5 starters and 6-7 main options. This hotel had 2 starter options and very confusing mish mash of mains, of which one was changed daily. So DO NOT expect a 5 star dining experience. Unfortunately our experience did get worse, on one of the days where had sometime to relax we did decide to go to the Dubai Mall. We asked the doorman if he could provide in assisting us with a taxi, there were also other guests waiting for taxi’s outside. After approx 5 mins, the doorman ushered us to a private taxi and advised its complimentary and would take us. The taxi man, started the usual banter on how poor he is and all his family are back home and he’s really struggling. He dropped us off and we went to the mall. The next day when we were leaving for a meeting the same private taxi was outside the hotel, talking to a guest and approached us in an aggressive manor and accused us of leaving the taxi without paying him for the previous day. On which I was furious and embarrassed as this was happening in front of other guests, I spoke to him and said he would need to take it up with the hotel as they advised it was a complimentary service on which he laughed at us and said you can have the journey free on me!! Again this made me more angry so I took him to Zahir who was the concierge manager I believe. I told him his colleague had advised it was a complimentary service and therefore we took the private taxi. Zahir advices were pay the taxi and we will ask our colleague on what happened, he refused to believe us!! The taxi man took us outside and proceeded to tell us that if we complained about the doorman he would be sacked? To avoid further embarrassment we paid the taxi but again we were totally baffled at the level of service we experienced. On checking out yesterday, Zahir asked if we required any assistance but totally ignored our complaint for the previous day and did not even advise if he had spoken to his colleague? I very rarely post any reviews unless it’s unacceptable and in exceptionally poor service for which this hotel ricks this box. For this establishment to be classed as 5 star in Dubai somebody seriously needs to be questioned. Please DO NOT book this hotel expecting a 5 star service, this is at best 3 star, charging 5 star rates. Much better hotel’s to stay in and around the area that are actually 5 star. Also AVOID HB option at all costs, there are a lot of great restaurants around the area and the Burjuman mall is literally opposite which has some lovely restaurants.

Booked a 43 sq m room, but it's actually ~38 and feels like 34, you be the judge. The booking site showed a very nice room with a couch. The room doesn't actually doesn't have a couch. So I called the booking agency to start the cancellation process. After a couple hours, I see that they will allow me to cancel 6/7 days. I was under the impression that because I was forced to pay a day against my will, that I would be allowed to stay that one day. and I thought this was confirmed with the booking person. But after confirming that I was staying one day, and was already in the room, with another person from booking, I learned that I was supposed to not stay any days, and had to pay the one day as a cancellation fee. So then I had to call my credit card company to start the dispute process. The utter audacity and lack of judgement to advertise something that is not the case and then force me to pay a day for me not to stay there, all while wasting several hours of my time, racking up my phone bill and causing me a lot of stress... Basically they ruined my entire day. I believe it will get resolved with only paying the day ( I didn't want to stay there) but the cost to me was much worse than money. Whoever is making these decisions to advertise a bigger, nicer room and then when the product is not delivered, to force one to pay a day to cancel... these people should be replaced by ethical people that have common sense. I would have not have written this review if they just let me cancel free and clear...
