Atlantis The Palm earns rave reviews for its spotless and spacious rooms, complete with charming touches like towel art, although some guests find the decor a bit dated and the space overcrowded. While the service is lauded for its professionalism and dedication, the noise level from various sources can be a disturbance for many travelers.
The hotel's luxurious amenities and prime location are frequently praised, but reviewers warn the cost may not reflect the value. Despite this, the hotel's clean environment and attention to detail are consistently highlighted by guests.

Absolutely loved this Hotel. We had a King Room overlooking the Ocean which happened to overlook the Aquarium offering great views of the sharks, rays and all other kinds of fish. Check in was nice and easy albeit it being 4am in the morning. Our room was superb, great size and cleaned every day by Gul who kept it in pristine condition. He tidied our cables up with ties, added a little dolphin to the end of the iPhone cable and left us glasses cleaning cloths. Nothing is too much for the staff here and their attention to detail brilliant. The restaurants were superb and we thoroughly enjoyed the Kaleidoscope Buffet restaurant where we had breakfast and evening meals. We opted for Half Board and ate at Gordon Ramsay’s, Ayamna which was superb and also went over to the Gastronomy at the Atlantis Royal (shuttle bus takes you here from the Atlantis) which was amazing. The Water and Fire show which we were able to watch from the outside balcony was amazing and think they show it every 30 minutes. There was a small extra charge to eat at Ramsay’s and Gastronomy but Ayamna was no extra charge. The food throughout was superb and plenty of choice. We were able to eat outside for most of our 10 day stay both morning and evening. The pool was lovely and plenty of towels which were laid out on the sun-beds (never an issue getting one) by the staff. You can order food and drinks via the QR code which are then brought to you. Plenty of fresh ice cold water at the many stations they have around the pool. We took advantage of the free Paddle Boards which you can use between 9am - 10am together with Kayaks. We visited the Water Park through the Hotel Guest entrance which included towels and the disposable socks for your feet due to the heat of the ground. Very busy and there were queues but nothing too bad. The lazy river always accessible at different points and plenty of the rubber rings. We also visited the Lost Chambers which was again free for Hotel Guests. We utilised the Monorail to visit Nakheel Mall where there is plenty of shopping to be done if you want. One reason for our visit was to locate the Cellar Door Wine shop which is within another small market within the Mall. The Cellar Door is accessed through a double door and then a black curtain. Make sure you take your passport as you have to register to be able to purchase alcohol. £16 for 12 cans of Heineken as opposed to £12 for 1 can in the room. The Monorail was very cheap for a return ticket and they run approx every 20 minutes. Special mention to Andis who worked in the Kaleidoscope restaurant who always made the effort to come and speak with us making sure everything was ok. We were very sad to leave the Hotel and can safely say one of the best hotels and holidays we have had. We will definitely be back to this fantastic Hotel.

What a trip! We checked into the Atlantis for a 4 night stay, half board. Upon arrival, our bags got taken from up and said they would be put in our room upon check in time. We checked in and were given Waterpark tickets as we couldn’t enter our room until 15:00. Check in was pretty smooth and was given refreshments.
When we could check in, our room keys were handed over to us and yes, our luggage was in the room ready and waiting. I had paid for an arrangement to be done as it was my partners birthday. ‘Happy Birthday’ was on the bed in rose petals, with a towel animal which was the cutest, with a cake and card! This was so pretty.
Our room was amazing. Looked over the aquarium, Atlantis Royale, Atlantis Balloon, in the skyline you could see the Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa, it was perfect. The room itself was amazing. Big comfy bed and pillows. Lots of storage. TV, mini bar, iron, safe. Big bathroom with free standing bath and amenities. The perfect touch was we were turned down every night, slippers at the side of the bed. Glass and water on the bedside table. Pillows and duvet ready. We were even given little gems to go on our chargers. And they tied up the bathroom.
With the hotel stay you get the aquarium tickets included, the aquarium is amazing. Lots of different fish and more to see. Rheymaria at the aquarium spoke to us reguarding a few of the animals which were in the aquarium, showing us skeletons and pieces of the animal, which we could touch and hold. She really made the time to speak to us.
There are many dining options to choose from night. Whether you choose the buffet option, half board dining option which included a 3 course meal including soft drink or you could pay a supplement charge for some restaurant. We did a mixture of all 3 over our stay. Definitely recommend Seafire for a romantic steak night. En Fuego is amazing for its atmosphere and the decorations inside. This is South American themed. We also visited The Shore for a tex mex theme, this was one of our favourites. We liked to eat at Saffron for breakfast. It was light and airy. Had a nice feel to it.
A few bars to drink at in the evening. We visited Arabian Terrace, this was a lovely, quiet vibe.
There is also a cafe located on the G floor of the hotel which sells pastries and sandwiches, with a view of the aquarium. If you like a milkshake and ice cream, head to Cold Stone. The milkshakes are unreal!!!
The beach and pool are both amazing. Lots of sun beds at both, with a towel ready on your bed. You can order food and drink on the app or press the buzzer and the waiter/waitress will take your order from the bed. There are many water fountains located at the beach, pool and water park. Watersports are available. Unfortunately it was too hot for us and we didn’t make use of this.
The water park is just amazing. Lockers and towel are available, lockers at a small charge should you wish to rent one. Aqua socks come as complimentary. Photographers around the pools and slides to capture special moments. There is a golf cart which goes around the park if you get too hot walking. Lots of food outlets.
Lots of shops on site. From designer brands to food and keep sakes. There is a little market also on the ground floor for keepsakes, perfume/aftershave. Jewellery.
The monorail can be reached from the hotel. It was really cheap for us to get to the Nakheel Mall and they run every 10-15 minutes. You also get good views of the palm whilst onboard.
We got engaged whilst out in Dubai, and the hotel was amazing. We were given a box with chocolate strawberries, macaroons and chocolates in the room with a cake. Each restaurant we went to they celebrated our engagement with a cake. They really make it special for us.
I would go back tomorrow if I could. It was the most amazing experience which I didn’t want to end. I hope to be back in the future.
Thank you Atlantis The Palm

Yes it’s expensive but in our opinion worth every penny.
Checked in early, room ready, bags delivered to our room within 10 minutes. The room was spotless and maintained throughout the day, every time we left the room we came back to find it tidied, fresh bottles of water, new toiletries etc. Every member of staff we bumped into were friendly, welcoming and focussed on ensuring we had an amazing stay.
The hotel stay gave us access to the Aquarium and Water Park. These tickets alone would have cost us in excess of £400. We also found a guide in the room with various activities available, amazed to find you could go kayaking or paddle boarding on the beach each morning free of charge which we did on our second day.
A day spent round the family pool was great, everywhere nice and clean with plenty of sun beds to choose from. Good music being played created a nice ‘chilled’ atmosphere.
We ate breakfast in Kaleidoscope both days, this was an experience on its own. A great choice of different food and drinks, live cooking stations, chocolate fountains…you name it, it’s got it! Dinner one night at The Wavehouse was equally impressive, good food and service again.
Thank you to everyone at The Atlantis for an amazing, memorable stay!

We found the service we received at Atlantis the best we have ever received. We were able to check in early as our room was ready when we arrived at 11.30.
Housekeeping were particularly good. Subhadra kept our room spotless during our stay and our son loved the little surprises left in the room everyday. At the end of our stay our son was sick during the night, our room was scrubbed clean the following morning. Housekeeping came by later in the day to see how he was doing and they brought him a toy, fruit platter and some chocolates. We have never received such care before.
Everything around the hotel was spotless, towels left out on sunbeds for you to use with staff ready to set up your sunbed. Buffet food was good with a wide selection.
The only issue I had during my stay was with the mini bar where a kinder egg is on display, if the box is moved you get charged and it’s very difficult to explain to a 3 year old that they must not touch it as we didn’t fancy paying £12 for a kinder egg.

Our family (my wife and I and 2 kids, one aged 16 and one aged 10 with his birthday at Atlantis) have just come back from a 5 night stay at Atlantis.
Overall we had an amazing time. We booked a Palm room which had 2 queen beds plus a sofa bed which meant the kids could have their own bed - the room was spacious and in great condition with a great view to the city beyond. What really stood out was the way the hotel staff cleaned our room every day - they did a fantastic job with a number of personal touches like putting wire tidies on our chargers - you definitely felt well looked after.
The hotel has 2 large swimming pools which were nicely heated - the Palm pool in front of the hotel is massive - must have been at least 150m wide, and there is also a family pool which has basketball rings and volleyball net for more games. There is also a large beach so plenty of sunbeds if you need them.
We managed to get a deal on Expedia for full board which turned out to be fantastic as the food at the hotel was top class. It included the ability to go to a range of restaurants across the hotel - we tried quite a few including the Shore, En Fuego, the Edge, both buffet restaurants and the Lebanese place - all were excellent with great service and amazing food - think lobster and tiger prawns all included. One thing to note is that full board does not include any alcohol. The prices if you did not have full board are very pricey so be prepared.
The other big bonuses are the activities on site - including the aquarium and waterpark. The waterpark is huge and so much fun - a real hit with our family and being at the hotel meant you could get there when it opened and avoid the queues that build up later on. The aquarium is also very impressive - we did a snorkelling experience which was incredible to swim with the sharks and rays.
So overall an amazing family experience - that you do pay a premium for - and we will definitely be back - once we have saved up enough money!

The BEST hotel we have ever stayed at! You are made to feel extremely welcome and very special from the minute you arrive at this hotel until you leave. Every member of staff couldn't be more helpful and ensured that our stay was simply the best and memorable. The food is out of this world and the desserts are so beautiful that they look too good to eat. We did not want to leave! Faruk our room valet was outstanding. He made us smile everyday with his beautiful towel art, cable tidy tropical fish and the beautiful way he tidied our room restoring it back to how it was when we first walked in everyday. One stop on the monorail from the hotel was the Nakeel Mall (and Aura Skypool- a must visit!). We travelled here everyday to have lunch as we were staying half board. There was a M&S, Waitrose and other supermarkets to stock up on drinks, sandwiches and snacks to keep in the small fridge in our room. Sometimes we had a picnic on the beach on our return! Drinks and lunchtime snacks at the hotel are expensive. We used taxi's from the hotel to go to all of the top attractions. We chose and booked visiting times that ensured that we didn't get caught up in the Dubai rush hour times to keep taxi costs low. This hotel and resort is simply out of this world. No matter what you age you are you will have the holiday of a lifetime and the memories made you will treasure forever. What an incredible place to spend holiday time in. We will back! Thank you again to all the staff and Faruk!

We have been traveling to Dubai for years and I have always been put off staying here in the past, having preferred to stay on Jumeirah Beach at the Madinat properties. My son is at an age where he's too old for kids club and won't relax on the beach for long so we finally took the plunge with the water park in mind and booked Atlantis for the October half term. We travelled as a family of 4 and took the overnight flight from the UK which arrived early in the day. Check-in was good and a room was immediately ready. This was good although we did need to pay for breakfast that morning. We had booked on a HB basis. Rooms exceeded expectations. I imagined that they may look dated considering the age of the hotel but I couldn't have been more wrong. The Deluxe/standard room was easily big enough and felt luxurious. We ate breakfast in Saffron each morning which we felt was much nicer than the other buffet restaurant. We tried the Lebanese and Mexican restaurants then also tried Saffron a couple of times at night. They were all superb and I feel that the dining options and quality of food and service rivals that of the Jumeirah - Madinat dine around. The two huge swimming pools were never over crowded. My son enjoyed playing water basketball each day and obviously, access to the waterpark was a huge hit. The new section of the park which connects the residents of The Royal is called Tridents Tower. It has all the latest slides and family rides and is great fun (even for someone who doesn't normally like water parks!) The early access to the park is a big bonus as it gets very busy with non-resident guests as the day goes on. We enjoyed hanging out and around the hotel in the evening, looking in the shops and staring at the aquarium for ages. The gym is good but my only criticism of the hotel is that the gym could be a lot bigger with more equipment. Free weights in particular. It did get very busy in the mornings. I think that considering it would cost a family of 4, £300 waterpark entry and £150 lost chambers aquarium entry, considering all - A stay at Atlantis is good value for money. Its great fun too! Location is really good. Easy to get on and off the Palm and the monorail connect the hotel - 1 stop away to the Nakheel mall which is also worth a visit. Especially the tower. If you're considering a stay at Atlantis - go for it. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here. The word WoW was used like a hundred times upon our entry. The setup and furnishings etc just ooze luxury. Upon arrival we were received so warmly as we were ushered to the check in desk . All staff that we encountered were most pleasant it didnt matter what their station or position was. All staff were also so full of information on the hotel and also had good understanding of the local area. Our room was well tended to by Anish K. He was so meticulous and took pride in the daily presentation of our room. All the food we ate from the selection of restaurants was full of flavour and the selection of cuisines was very broad.
The Aquarium was a nice touch and the way it's built into the architecture of the hotel really helps to create a calm and serene atmosphere perfect for de stressing . The water park was amazing and huge in general there is such a wide choice of experiences to have at the hotel.
This was an anniversary that we will never forget and we will definitely be coming back with our children next time !

The hotel is a high standard for hospitality, good selection of restaurants, clean beach with all needed, towels all the time, cafes at the beach side, Aquapark is kids' favorite place to be, kids zone, two pools, safeguards all the time.
The room cleaning seems to be a very mundane activity, but the hotel's staff was kind of mind blowing: attention to every detail. They see that you have one charger for 3 phones, they bring you missing ones from their stock, they see the cables are hanging, they roll and arrange them. In every detail perfection! I do not do this at my home! I was impressed and asked if they do it always: Shoael and Subhaka, guys, I need to come for a master-class training to you😉...
Every area, has native speakers of several main languages. So, if you are struggling, there will most probably be, one staff member, your native speaker...
In the hotel, like a separate town: shops, drug store, cafes anf lind if foid court, diving, snorkeling, aquarium, SPA... To discover all you need time.
At the reception Miss Dinara was most helpful, guiding, advising and explaining.
At the Kaleidoscope Mr. Nurpolot was very client oriented!
Apologies to staff if mis-tyoed their names.
Anyway, with all said highly recommend.
one thing I would :
We do not want to buy all photos in paper, could you make them available for online uploading att some price, but not as full price as for paper pics.
Thanks a lot to all staff and management for maintaining a high quality service!

We visited the Atlantis the Palm hotel for the second time. I really like the water park, the aquarium, there are a lot of bodyguards everywhere, a varied menu in buffet restaurants. The Bread Street Kitchen&Bar restaurant again did not impress, more pathos. The En Fuego restaurant is always distinguished by fiery dances and songs. This time we opened the Asian restaurant Asia Republic. At the hotel pharmacy we bought medicines for 348 dirhams and asked for a receipt for tax free. As a result, at the airport they told us that everything was filled out incorrectly for us, to issue such a check we need a passport, which the pharmacy didn’t even ask us for. I would like to say a special thank you to room service Nim, who cleaned our room: always on time, efficiently, helped with any request, and the children were simply delighted with his animal crafts, they even wrote him a personal letter upon departure!
