Our stay at Nammavong was terrible. The staff are really rude, the only thing they seem to care about is taking your money. The room we stayed in was really dark, in the morning we had to put the main light on. They even got annoyed when we asked for more toilet roll. I can't even say that we got...

After first night stuff asked to move to another room (same-same as they said), but after we moved it figured out that other room is much worse that previous one. Bycicles in hotel is like only a piece of metal :) We said that there is no way to have a big bus (because it's full), but in tour agency...

Price is about right for the area, two bed twin for 90-100k. Ensuite was clean. Area was quiet, with a lovely Wat which I would recommend to explore for free at night time. Very basic breakfast is available. Don't hire the bicycles, they're terrible, just get one from in town.

Not a terrible guesthouse. They try. A bit overpriced by comparison. Laundry service is poor but typical of this trip so far. Long walk to the center of things but not the worst place I've stayed. Friendly and helpful staff. Mediocre bedding Next to a Temple so a lot of drumming at weird hours. Nice owners and pleasant experience.

The city is lovely but very popular and we couldn't find another place to stay and we decided to try there. The rooms are noise and smell really bad. Every time we enter, we had turn on the vent to fight the smell. The breakfast was ok, good, but the problem is eat with someone else smoking right beside you....

We can't assert this is the best value in Luang Prabang (We didn't try other places) but the two times we came, rooms were clean, cosy and cheap. A good place to stay for a couple a bit on a budget, and who want to keep the crowd away and enjoy the riverfront and Wat Xieng Thong (going early in...

This place was recommended by a friend. Location superb. Our room was cheap & ok for what we paid. Quiet environment. Close to Tamarind our favourite eating spot. Great to view monks receiving alms @6.15am Lady who runs this location was certainly not rude & our room was never entered by anyone but us for the 3 nights we stayed...

We stayed there for four nights, at the beggining it was good, our room was clean except the bathroom (hair in the walls) but we payed 40,000 kip so we weren't expecting a great luxury. The real problem was the woman, one of the owners. Sincce it was low season she wanted us to buy all the tours, minivans, treks,...
