I stayed here for four nights with my wife, the room was really standard not really to much to say on it, although there was a nice seating area outside the room. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was great 1 min walk to the river and 5 mins to the market, bars and restaurants.

My Wife and I stayed here for a week in January 2015 and enjoyed it very much. The Hotel is conveniently located - turn left out the front gates and you will have a very short walk down to the Mekong River and many food places. Turn right at the gates to head up to the main (?) road. Turn...

Stayed here as a couple for four nights. The room was spacious and clean and the air con was really good. The guesthouse is perfectly located, 300m to the night market with restaurants and bars a short distance further. The staff at philaylack are def some of the friendliest and helpful people we have met on our travels. Highly recommended.

The rooms, location and cleanliness of this place is pretty good. On this note I couldn't complain at all. Showers were good too. What we weren't told is they were doing building work right next to our room. They started there work from 7.10am till 6pm,including weekends. Not nice when you like to have a lay in now and again....

Really nice guesthouse, excellent staff, nice clean room and good facilities. One of the nicest, cleanest guesthouse we found in Laos for the price. Only issue was that the gates were locked reasonably early, so we had to climb the fence at about 11.30pm one night, otherwise an excellent stay.

It's super cheap, the staff are lovely, we had air con, tv, private bathroom and shower, it was clean, we had fresh towels, water, shampoo and conditioner everyday. There's free coffee, ovaltine and tea (leaves) downstairs. Its also super central, by a little supermarket and a bakery as well as being 2 mins away from the centre. It's fab for...
