We stayed in the Orchid Suite #18 and our friends in #17. The set-up was great for families with younger children because it was easy to let the kids go to sleep and then go down to the courtyard since there was only one stairway up to the rooms. Two beds were set up for the children and there is...

Manager Evelyn from Canada does a fabulous job of making this a very homey, comfortable small hotel in a great location in Luang Prabang. Very nice interior courtyard where we enjoyed our breakfast and latte's. Staff all very helpful and fairly good English, a plus that you don't always find. We did the suite -- for the money, I would...

The rooms are very clean and the garden courtyard is a delightful place to enjoy breakfast which is bountiful and fresh. Try the tamarind jam and the lime marmalade which are locally made. The staff were so helpful arranging international phone calls and tuk-tuks. From your room you can see the early morning procession of the Buddhist monks. The hotal...

The lotus rooms face directly on the street. Every time a motorbike goes by, you can hear it in the room. Woke up 3 times during the night because of this. The rooms are much smaller then the pictures on the website depict. The shower is very small and the bathroom is so small that they had to put the...

The staff are very friendly and the location of the hotel is great. There is free wireless Internet in the communal areas. The breakfasts are lovely, made with local produce to order and a good selection. The staff were able to recommend good restaurants in the area. There is a small safe in the room but would benefit of being...

The first thing that struck me was the bathtub next to the bed in our Lotus Room.. how unusual! Location-wise, this place was great and one could escape the hustle and bustle of the main street. I really liked our Suite 2 as it was directly facing the street for the alm procession and I could literally just open the...

Beautiful place! Very nice and quiet. The owner is super nice, very mellow and cool. They have done a spectacular job making this hotel welcoming and comforting. The rooms are beautiful and the courtyard was a real oasis. It was lovely to be a bit away from the main hub-bub of town, where it was a little quieter. The price...

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Lotus Villa. We stayed in an orchid suite which has a balcony that overlooks the street where we could watch the procession of monks go past each morning. The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of the main street shops, restaurants and night market. It is also a short walk to the...

Our family of two adults & two teens stayed at the Lotus in early December. We stayed in two connecting rooms, which were great. The villas were spacious and extremely clean. The staff at the villas go out of their way to be helpful and assist in making your stay really memorable. The main street is only a few minutes...

Small Australian owned hotel, mostly built about 6 years ago (although our huge and stylish room is part of an older house incorporated into the rest) and very much in the LP French colonial style, white walls, deep verandahs, terracotta tiled roofs. It’s built round a small courtyard, shaded with big-leaved shrubs and bushes. Great for breakfasts and afternoon cooling...
