If you are expecting a luxury 5 star resort, or hipster hotel you won't get this here. It's a good 4 out of 5, especially in this price range. However, if you like atmosphere, clean, quaint, very attentive staff, spectacular breakfasts and a perfect location, this is the place for you. When we first arrived, we were actually disappointed. The...

Not a boutique hotel. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are strangely designed, the shower is just behind the entrance door and across the small bathroom, so if you take a shower you have to close the door, but after your shower you have to cross the very wet shower floor no other way to get in or out...

We stayed in the suite room so that we could watch the monks on their alms procession from our porch. The room was lovely and surprisingly quiet. Also tranquil was the inner courtyard where breakfast was served each day. Truthfully, there was not a large choice for breakfast menu. Nice place.

This is a lovely small hotel located on a quiet street within 2-3 minutes walk of lots of restaurants, and 5-10 minutes walk to the Night Market/National Museum. The rooms are spacious and clean, stayed in the Frangapani room...please note the bathroom is open plan and there is no TV in the room. Breakfast is a highlight and served in...

We stayed at three hotels in LP and we regret staying here. Not that anything bad happened, just that it was the most expensive and our least favorite. The room we had was just average -- very wooden, dark and no view. The bathroom sink was in the living area, so not separate. The staff was nice, but didn't go...

This is a lovely guest house is a great location. Very peaceful setting but walking distance to everything. Staff were extremely pilot and helpful and the breakfast was a real highlight. I would definitely stay here again were I to visit Luang Prabang.

The room was large and very clean, serviced twice a day. The staff was really friendly. Breakfast was delicious but a little predictable – I was there for a week. Coffee was good; food was good. Convenient location. A relaxed place to meet fellow travelers and get tips on local spots.

Location: excellent because it is within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. It is not on the main street, hence it is quiet and not too crowded. It is within 1 minute from the main street so it's very conveniently located Rooms: very clean and spacious. The room even has a balcony from where I could see monks partaking...

I'm giving the Lotus Villas an overall 4* rating or Very Good. As has been said before, the location and the staff and of course the breakie are 5*. Lovely helpful and genuinly smiley people. The only place that I saw any rubbish is when inconsiderate guests had put their cigarettes out on the gravel surrounding the outside dining area,...

Very helpful and courteous staff; they assisted in getting a good deal for us to have a one hour boat trip along the Mekong. The room was very nice. Food very good and the location of the hotel ideal for walking either into the town or strolling down the rivers.
