We stayed at villa may don for a week and loved it whether it be relaxing on our balcony, r by the pool or enjoying a quiet drink at the bar the place is wonderful. The whole hotel is extremely clean, breakfast is delicious and staff very courteous. If you don't feel like walking the short distance to city sites... More

The hotel is just lovely. It is located behind a small temple and every morning and evening you are greeted by young alms. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and sun beds. It is located 15 min walk to the main shopping and night market area. It offers free bicycles. The staff is very polite and well trained. The... More

We spent three days at Villa Maydou and enjoyed every minute of it. The buildings and rooms themselves are stunning; our room, in one of the Heritage buildings, had a comfy bed, good a/c, and a nice bathroom (but no safety box unfortunately). The hotel has a really lovely pool and gardens and a nice restaurant. The included breakfast was... More

It is a great location and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are lovely if you are staying would suggest the ones over looking the pool upstairs as it gives you a lovely outside private balcony. You can use their cycles for a 10 minute ride into the centre of town so easy to get around

This hotel is very nice, with good, big rooms made in traditional Laos style. The staff is helpful and it is easy to walk into Luang Prabang. There is a little pool, very refreshing in hot weather, aircondition in the rooms, free bottle of water every day.

I can't begin to express how pleased I am that we stayed in this lovely gem of a place. We stayed at the villa near the pool and the room was clean, pretty and well maintained. The design and decor is like that of a traditional Laos house with squeaky floors. The pool was a great relief after walking around... More

We started our Laos family adventure here. A bit more up market than we usually travel and thank goodness we did. The pool helped acclimatize and with a debit card stuck in an ATM at the airport and then a sick son the staff could not possibly have been more helpful or understanding. The included breakfast was excellent, a bit... More
