This is a beautiful hotel, I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Luang Prabang. The hotel itself is decorated beautifully, and the coffee bar at the lobby is fantastic. The breakfast buffet caters to a variety of tastes and is cooked fresh to order. The hotel has us own bus that leaves the hotel and takes you to the market and back throughout the day for no charge, which is very convenient. We used the massage parlour next to the pool which was great value for money, and very relaxing. The poolside bar was worth a look, in fact I had a few looks at it.

I booked this hotel on the basis that I thought it would be as per the name, a more upmarket boutique style hotel with nice rooms, a nice breakfast, good service etc. The photos of the hotel really give that impression. The reality was this hotel was very average for the price and I am sure you must be able to find better options. When I say "average" it is because it really wasn't particularly bad or good. To start with the location wasn't great. Given you are going to want to spend most of your time in the town going to eat in bars or restaurants or walking around the nightmarket this hotel is about 20m to 30m walk depending on how far you go. It's actually a bit quicker coming back as it is more downhill but going is up quite a lot of inclines. Yes there are transfers but they are infrequent and you aren't going to necessarily manage always to fit your schedule around them. The breakfast was edible and there were different options but just wasn't particularly nice. The staff were polite enough but really had no engagement with them other than just checking in and saying hello when I left and came back. People mention in other reviews a French manager, I never saw this person while I was there. The room was relatively comfortable although it was annoying that there was a window with a fairly transparent blind looking from the bedroom into the bathroom so you never had any real privacy! Again I had nothing to complain about staying here but if I was going to stay in Luang Prabang again I would go for a hotel with a better location and pay more to have a better breakfast.

Dear Reviewer, we thank you for your indepth review, We do have a free shuttle bus for you to go to town and back, we are 10 minute walk from the riverside. Not sure what you mean by inclines as Luang Prabang is flat. Once again thank you for your feedback, we will take into consideration.

Wonderful little find. Great pool, clean stylish rooms, accomodating staff. Amenities at the hotel were great for the price paid. Free shuttle to the airport, free bikes to use around town. Location is slightly out of town which appealed, as it was quiet and accessible. We would return.

Amazing value for money, I had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it!! Rooms - spotless and clean (cleaned everyday), beautiful decor, really comfortable and large beds with good bedding, comes with all the amenities and extra (free tea coffee water bottles etc.). Lovely big bathroom with good shower etc. The best is the balcony, mine looked over the pool, which gave me surrounding mountain views which was amazing to see in the evening with the sunset sky. The pool is lovely and big, good for pool days or to cool off from the heat. Gets lots of sun, with shaded areas, sun beds and towels, great pool bar with amazing (and cheap) food and drinks (recommend the fruit shakes). I ate there twice!! Also has a spa area with treatments and a gym (which I didn’t use). But looked good! Pool area lit up in the eve which is pretty! Also has a coffee bar - I didn’t use this but there if you need it. Surrounded by beautiful gardens which are well kept. Breakfast was lovely - you could sit outside with mountain views each morning, with croissants, bread, fresh fruit... eggs etc cooked to order. Staff are fantastic - they go above and beyond and are incredibly friendly. They made this stay!! And as a female solo traveller I felt very safe. Good location, you can walk to the centre or get the hotel free shuttle. Also offers free bikes. I highly recommend this hotel, fantastic quality and value for money - for tourists, solo travellers, couples, families and business etc! When I came, it was low season so not many guests which is a massive shame - as the hotel is stunning and literally ready to go!

Dear Chittakonek, Thanks to take the time to write a nice review, really appreciated! We are really glad that you enjoyed your whole stay with us. Indeed, the alms giving takes place every day on the morning in front of the hotel and it's a perfect and quiet spot to discover it. Thanks for your kind words about the staff and the amenities of the hotel. We wish you a nice trip! Warmest regards Rodolphe Godey
