The location of the hotel is great if you want to be in the centre of town but it can be quite noisy in the evening. Service is patchy and over-reliant on the natural hospitality and welcoming nature of Lao people, with little evidence of any attention to staff training. The room I stayed in was ok but beware, the...

We came across Indigo House on three occasions: 1. We bought a bun from the outside stall selling baked goods. The bun was nothing special, and tasted factory made with sugar sprinkled on it. Like those buns you can buy packed in plastic everywhere. 2. The next day we sat in the cafe and ordered a watermelon shake and some...

The hotel is in a great location and has a small roof top bar. The rooms are really nice and the bed is actually extremely comfortable. The restaurant in the lobby has decent food. The only knock about the food is my eggs came filled with onion and peppers. That was not described in the menu.

Great stay, comfortable room. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Location on top of the market is fantastic for people watching and a great base for walking the small town. Highly recommend. One constructive idea would be for a shower curtain to keep a little heat in the shower during the cold months plus to minimize the water on...

Stayed in January 2017. Clean and reasonable size room, we had Serenity. No view but did have noise insulated shutters that also blocked out all light too. Fresh fruit in room everyday and excellent room service. Included a safe for valuables. Breakfast not included but can buy coffee etc downstairs and cakes/croissant from stall immediately outside hotel foyer. Night market...

We did not stay at the hotel, but ate a few times there. From breads and breakfast to lunch and dinner, all meals where very tasty. It's localited on the main street of the city, where has the night market, so it is easy to pass and take a snack if you want to enjoy the market.

This hotel is placed "downtown". At the start of the night market, not far from the Mekong River. The rooms are individually decorated, the stairs (rooms are on 2nd to 4th floor, no lift) wooden. All very nice, but unfortunately rather noisy. A little too expensive, considering...

This place is magical. From the names of the rooms (instead of room numbers) to the view from the roof lounge, to the helpful staff (we spoke no Lao - no problem), to the airport pickup. This place was amazing! Free breakfast (just ok), but generally good food. Right at the head of the night market and within walking distance...
