Stayed here for one night which did the job. Did get a little bit noisy from traffic and the hostel behind. This is the main reason we didn't stay longer. Staff were helpful and answered queries. Beautiful wood from floor to ceiling. Very handsome building. Not great value for money but you pay a premium on the riverfront.

I hesitated between three and four stars here: I decided on four, mainly because of the value for money. We paid around $35 per night during Pii Mai (Buddhist New Year), the most expensive time of year. Pros: location, nice if small rooms, hot shower with excellent water pressure, good air-con and fan, silent enough to leave on at night,...

We stayed here for 3 nights & overall enjoyed our room. pros were a large, clean, comfortable bed, excellent hot water & water pressure & nice sunny veranda with big comfy seats. Cons were not run by Lao people, small room & tended to get noisy due to the Chinese owner & friends chatting noisily each night in reception &...

Stayed in this hotel for three nights and had a great experience there. The staff were just awesome and the freshly renovated room was a super treat to stay in. The location was also great. Right on the Mekong and minutes from the city center, shops, sight seeing activities and the night market. Nothing but good things to say and...

We paid 37$ for a windowless, dirty and mosquito riddled room. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the rooms beside and on top of you. If someone flushes the toilet you will wake up from the noise. If you are a light sleeper then this hotel is impossible to sleep in. And now the worst...

We came across this little gem on the banks of the Mekong quite by accident. We'd been walking around Luang Prabang for a couple of hours in the heat and felt like a cold beer, even though we'd been keeping up our fluids. We spotted a little wooden place jutting out over the river, sat down and we serve almost...

The rooms are really well presented with a keen attention to detail for a guesthouse of this price. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Free water replenished when you need it, a decent wifi connection and an enclosed shower cubicle as opposed to the wet room style bathrooms you tend to get in SE Asia. The owner is Chinese and doesn't speak...

Well located and clean guesthouse in Luang Prabang. Close to the city center but much more reasonable price. Pleasant breakfast or dinner on the Mekong river side. Always a pleasure to stay here when I am staying in Luang Prabang.

Two story guesthouse along the river front. Owner very friendly and helpful. Good value at USD 20 per room per night. My husband and I had a downstairs room and my brother had an upstairs room, both good. Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. We stayed a couple of days and then came back for several more days after our motorbike...

The guesthouse is in the centre of the town, in the street that runs along the River . This is a two-storey building. We had down stairs rooms ..The entrance is from a communal wooden terrace which has a small table and chairs for each room and nice views on the river. The room is cosy and does not really...

“Grab the end room if it's available. If you're a sporting fan, wander across town to the Aussie Sports Bar where you can watch AFL and NRL and whatever other sport may be on that day with screens. The owner brings around plates of snacks while you're there.”
