Stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great. Only a few minutes walk from both the night and morning market. It is also really close to the river where there are rows after rows of restaurants catering to every taste and budget. The rooms were simple but spacious and clean. It gives the atmosphere of being at home. A...

It's located on a quiet side street. 50m from the morning market. The Mekong is 100m the other way. The night market and old quarter are within a 3 minute walk. Its is very central. It's really nothing special. The rooms are quiet and clean. Sak is very friendly. For a 3 day stop-over it was a really nice fit.

This is a small guest house a few steps from the Morning Market and less than a block from the Mekong River. It's also quite close to the Royal Palace, the main tourist street and a number of Wats. Although it's in the heart of the tourist area, it was very quiet. Our room was large enough to be comfortable...

Staff were extremely helpful, they did everything to try and make our stay comfortable despite the dreadfully cold weather we had. The rooms were spacious, very clean, great showers and nice beds. Some reviews criticize the wet-room nature of the shower/loo but this is normal in Laos. Free tea, coffee and hot water in reception. Location was fantastic, only 3...

This Villa style hotel is run by one family. It is kept clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is very close to the market and the main centre. Early morning visit to the fruit and vegetable market and to go see the taking of Alms by the Buddhist monks is within walking distance. It is conveniantly located close to...

We booked two rooms and requested one double but we were told that our request did not register on the booking.com system so we were allocated rooms 7 and 9, both with twin beds. Room 9 faces the front street so it's not as quiet as the other rooms and we had to use the bedspread to block off light...

Booked for three nights and extended to a fourth. Very warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay. We were in LP during the very cold and wet spell, and despite their discomfort and difficulties the staff went out of their way to accommodate the requests of their guests. We took a private minivan to the Kuang Si waterfalls. Organised...

The hotel is ok. It is clean, but the bathroom is a mess there is no curtain separating the shower from the toilet with ends up in a wet mess. There is no even a hair dryer in the room. Staff is friendly but I bet you can get better quality for 50 chf

We spent 3 nights at Villa Meuang Lao and enjoyed it very much. It's a small family run place in a great location, very close to the morning market. It's not far to any of the main sights including the national museum, the night market, Mount Phousi, and the Mekong River. Yet it's not noisy at all since it's on...
