Loved Staying here. Beds were good, the rooms clean and well maintained during our stay. The view of the Mekong was perfect and we had our own little sitting area out on the front terrace (not private, though). This looked exactly like the pictures, The wifi was a little inconsistent in the rooms but good in the lobby. A little... More

The hotel overlooks the Mekong in a very good location just 20 mins max from airport. 5 minute walk to night market and main road. The room looks lovely, good ammenities but the bathroom stank. Not sure what it was but it was constant for the 5 nights. They lock the doors at 11pm so you'll have to be back... More

I made a booking at this hotel through Agoda. Come to find out, they totally misrepresented the location of the reservation (actually miles out of town). They wouldn't move out reservation to their other two hotels, plus they insisted on charging a one night cancellation and wouldn't even pick up the phone to help us find other accommodations. Now every... More

I loved staying in this hotel!!!! The view was awesome. Great to get up each morning and see the Mekong. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They serve a really nice breakfast each morning. About 5 breakfast choices. Worth the price. They close the gate at 11PM.

Great guesthouse in a convenient location. We booked a junior suite which featured a massive four-poster bed and had separate shower and bathtub. Some issues with a lack of hot water hot water were experienced but staf f dealt with this promptly. Breakfast was really good with omelette and eggs made to order piping hot and fresh with a selection... More

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are really friendly, but what really sets this hotel apart is the wonderful view on the Mekong river. And of course, the city centre is really nearby. You can walk everywhere. There is no bar or restaurant, but they serve an excellent breakfast. Value for money and just that little bit extra!

When we booked our time in Luang Prabang we did not know how many River Lodges there were! We initially booked at the River Lodge Resort (which is nice but quite a bit out of the main town). They were great at assisting us to move back into town at Luang Prabang River Lodge 2 which is in a great... More

This is my third time in LP, chose this hotel for its Location to relax and walk around. I got the superior double room with river view, which we loved, I have a feeling that we where upgraded, since I did not know till we got in that there was a huge bath top asides from the shower alone. The... More

As other reviewers've stated before, the view from the rooms on the second floor is stunning. You should definitely ask for that. In addition, the rooms have good air-conditioning and a luxurious touch to them. Pricing is a bit high though, as the WiFi barely works at all (for instans). Also, you can definitely find guesthouses in the same quarters... More
