My husband and I stayed at the Luang Say Residence as part of our honeymoon. We were only supposed to stay there for two nights and then fly to Phukett but we loved the hotel and the town so much that we decided to stay longer. Santi extended our stay and helped us change our tickets. He even booked a...

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in July. A truly beautiful old colonial French style hotel, beautiful grounds, umbrellas and shade around the pool, very peaceful. Breakfast was excellent, especially the Eggs Benedict. A suggestion for people that stay for longer periods of time, perhaps you could say that you can spend up to $US25 on your breakfast...

This hotel is very nice. I did not spend too much time researching it, I just went by the TripAdvisor rating. My first thought was that it didn't seem to be very much like the 'hero' picture taken over the pool. Instead the hotel is spread out over several old colonial style buildings. My room was very large and the...

We stayed in one of the suites for a week -and could not have been happier with the hotel, its location and its ambiance. The hotel itself is perfectly staffed with superb rooms, excellent food, beautiful grounds and a really stunning pool. This being our first time coming to Laos, we were a little unsure about what we'd find but...

Love this place. The food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly and lovely. Only problem is that the pool temperature is a little too warm. Rooms are lovely. Beautiful big bathroom, comfy king size bed. We stayed in a suite. The building are French colonial style and there is a lively bar. Would definitely recommend...

After traveling around the Indochina countries for several weeks, arriving at a place that transports you in time while giving you the opportunity to experience an oasis in the desert is invaluable. Perfect hotel. Perfect staff. Perfect service. The eggs benedict for breakfast is a must. Can't miss a dip in the pool after a hard hot day touring around....

The hotel is simply perfect, from the design to service. I love every single corner in the hotel. The room is sophisticated, details and elegant. The restaurant is so nice with outstanding food. Nothing to complained about. I stayed in couple hotels in Luang Prabang and Luang Say residence is always one of my favourites. Only regret thing that I...

We just completed our stay for four nights and were more than delighted with this charming hotel . Even though the hotel is fairly new , the architecture gives the feeling of the old houses seen in various parts of Asia. The public areas like the reception , restaurant and bar are wonderful and quiet places to sit and spend...

We stayed in Luang Say Residences after having seen the good reviews on tripadvisor. On the upside, the hotel has the potential to come across as good: beautiful pool, well maintained gardens, nice breakfast. However, we just felt that it wasn't fully worth the price given the many choices in Luang Prabang. For those willing to pay a premium for...
