Enjoy your stay in Luang Prabang!
Super clean rooms and a good size overlooking the Nam Khan river (the other side is the Mekong river) and it is very quiet here. The service was excellent and the staff and owner are super helpful and prepare a lovely breakfast with very good coffee!
I just stayed for three nights at this pleasant hotel on the riverside. It has two buildings all facing the river. Just a short walk up a narrow alleyway takes you up to a small pagoda and then into Sisavangvong Road where most of the tourist restaurants and colonial style buildings are and also where the night market springs up around the Royal Palace. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean. Good WiFi, cable TV and a decent breakfast.
Good rooms which are a decent size and very clean. We didn't want for anything while we were here, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We also had to book various transports while we were in Luang Prabang and the hotel were incredibly helpful with handling all of that. The location is also excellent, near to some great parts of the city and walking distance from everywhere. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and they even went above and beyond by making us breakfast a little before the normal time on the day we left (as we were leaving so early). I would recommend this place.
First off, we have to say thanks to the staff. Noy has been wonderful to help guests with any of their questions or needs. Places to visit. Motorbike. Airline tickets. Trekking. Local favorite places. Things you don't see on the map, she knows where they are. The rest of the staff is also helpful, even when I don't speak much Lao, they do there best (and google translate is also a good bridge to language). Second, it is right across from the Nam Khan River. This side of the peninsula is very quiet, compared to the Mekong side. For good reasons. The tour boats are on the Mekong side and many restaurants. Third, this is right next to a temple. You can walk up the driveway and experience something amazing, like it's in your backyard. Forth, the food is diverse. Want fruit to eggs to soup, they have it. They will make you something that you want. Short walk to the night market, other temples or the bamboo bridge. Overall, I've had a great experience here. Would recommend to anyone. Khop Chai!…
Room spacious and spotless. Staff very friendly and cheerful! Breakfast just so so! Not the real butter served and noodle was instant, both were unhealthy. Felt a little weird the reception, just one meter from the door, was not a place of worship, the guests were required to remove the shoes just to hand over the key or anything. Not in the center, had to walk far to find many eateries.
