Lovely charming hotel right in the middle of the beautiful centre of Luang Prabang town. The room was super specious although we had to air it after checking it as it smelled of dump a bit. Once aired it was lovely to stay as in comparison to other places we stayed this was very luxorious. Would recommend to others..

Pros - Convenient location in the old town for the sights and restaurants. However vehicles cannot get down the narrow street so you have to walk 100m. The rooms are large and well equipped. Cons - Noise. There are 2 separate building sights next to the hotel on either side. They start at 7am until 5pm with hammering, drilling, grinding... More

This little guest house is on the tiny morning market street. It's separated from the market by a wooden gate and a large garden/courtyard where breakfast is served. Our room was large, well-appointed, comfortable and very clean, and the bathroom was modern and nice. Unfortunately, there is construction underway next door and we couldn't enjoy the property during the day... More

This place is a very small guest house in the middle of Luang Prabang. The morning market is right outside the hotel gate. There's a monastery right next door which can get a bit noisy early in the morning. The staff are very nice, but little English is spoken. So communication can be a little difficult. The wifi works OK... More

Second stay at the LP residence. Great location right outside morning market. Super friendly staff although don't expect them to speak anything other than Lao, which is ok. Nice made to order breakfast in the garden. Don't forget to tip people. Clean rooms, spacious and right next to a temple so expect the young monks to wave in the morning.... More

This hotel is an excellent base to discover Luang Prabang. It has the morning vegetable market directly outside and then the night market at the end of the road. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely and helpful and the breakfast is great sat outside in the garden. Further down the main street are the travel... More

I stopped by this guesthouse on a walk through the morning market. Our guide proudly showed us around this family business. An architect brother designed and renovated the building. I did not stay here, but I would on a future visit. Family and staff speak English, French, and Lao.

The Luang Prabang Residence is at the higher end of the price scale and it delivers in terms of comfort, amenities and customer service. It is centrally located (a short stroll from the night market with the morning food market also taking place outside its front doors), it has firm yet comfortable beds with good linen, a well situated bathroom... It is a great tiny hotel in a very quiet location. The receptionists speak good English, they are very helpful. The room is just wonderful, huge, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom is beautiful, hot water is not a problem. The whole hotel is a Laos style wooden one, we enjoyed every single minute of it. We stayed here for 4... More

Happy with our choice to stay here and would stay again. Loved the beds, the style of the rooms, and the made-to-order breakfast in the front garden every morning with plenty of fresh fruit as well as coffee, toast, eggs, bacon, etc. Great being a short walk away from so much. Staff were friendly when we had questions and printed... More
