Booked Mekong Moon Inn through Booking.com. The check in process was fast and simple and had to contact the property the day before to inform them about the check in time. The price is higher than some of the properties available here but it was worth it. My friend and I were relieved when we managed to get our room...

I booked Mekong Moon Inn for our February trip using booking.com back in November 2016. I subsequently canceled the reservation (without any penalty as it was a refundable reservation) well before we left on our trip as I able to book a better property (My Dream Resort, Luang Prabang). Imagine my surprise with the property charged my credit card fraudulently...

I had reservations at this hotel for over 2 months. Got to the hotel and without explanation we were sent to another hotel close by. While the staff at the new hotel is lovely, we were not given any explanation as to why we were switched. The HOSTEL we were switched to is definitely subpar to the "superior" room we...

Nice clean rooms, nicely decorated. The bathroom is good with a great hot shower. Breakfast plain and usual The location is super, walking distance to old centers highlights and good restaurants. The people running it very friendly, helpful and honest. I would stay here again, they had our booking wrong but tried ever to correct it ..even though first night...

I stayed at this guesthouse for three nights. Taking the price into account you could probably do better but you also worse. The location is very convenient just around the corner from the night and food market. I had a room on the ground flor. It was quite small with a not very appealing view towards walls but clean. Since...

The beds were the comfortable that we had slept on in over two weeks. It was heaven! It was quiet down a side street with a few other guest houses. It was quiet apart from the humming of the slightly broken air con when we arrived. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The bathroom very large also. The shower...

The hotel is down a small road with a couple of other guesthouses. The room was a good size with a comfy bed & the bathroom was clean with a hot shower. We had breakfast in the morning which came from another guesthouse and was the usual fare and ok. If you're looking for a good value place to stay...

This was a great little hotel with a very hard working, pleasant staff. We recommend when booking this hotel that you ask for a room in the back building. The room was large and clean. When we checked in, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the manager gave us a map and recommended places to eat and sights to...

I stayed here two nights on a 2 week solo trip in Laos. I had actually booked the Mekong Moon Inn II on Agoda, which is their riverside sister hotel located 20 minutes out of town; however when I went to check in there, I was told there was no room for me. No explanation was given as to how...
