We stayed 4 nights in a double room for USD 12 a night. Pay at the counter if you can (it's USD 18 a night if you book through Agoda). The room was clean and tidy with hot showers and free wifi. 3 min walk from the night market. 2 min from the Mekong. It's true there's usually no one...

There is no staff during night time, no phone numbers where to contact in urgent cases, wifi turned off, their regular phone number not answering. Also there is no female dorms. Now this is a problem when your 6 male room mates return to the dorm room one by one in the night, between 2-3 am, some of them accompanied...

Myself and my friend spent a night in a dormitory at this guesthouse. When we asked for the key for the dormitory we were told that as there were eight guests in that room, it wasn't possible to have keys. We went to bed at 11pm that night. At 5:30am I woke with a start to find a man hovering...

We booked online for 3 nights with a deposit already paid. When we arrived they tried to make us pay more including the deposit. It took a VERY long time explaining to them. Once it was settled they treated us very badly for the duration of our stay. However, we decided to stay a couple more nights to save on...

I checked in here initially for one night before going to elephant camp for two days. They informed me that they had a room, but no dorm space (which I now know was a lie). The room was pretty poor for the price I was paying. On checking out, I told them I would be returning in two days, and...

The rooms were filthy and infested with bugs. There was a time during our stay when ants were crawling one of the walls and I complained to the staff. He took care of them for us but threw their dead remains in our waste basket. How disgusting! The bathroom has broken floor tiles that we almost slipped over. The drain...

Perfect little spot with good social vibe. Stayed in the bunks, which had plenty of room for storing your stuff close by (ie personal light and powerpoint for charging). Downside, the two toilets and two showers lead straight off the rooms themselves causing that 'sewer smell' we all come to love. Pretty sure the cleaner goes through your bags. So...

Dont go there! The rooms are cheap but very poor quality and bars in windows. I had bedbugs in my bed and got bitten terribly. You can get much better place for the same price in the guesthouses nearby. At least they gave me small discount for my laundry.

We stayed at Xayana in the private four bed room which was actually a massive room with a private bathroom and AC and fans. The room was super cheap, the cheapest we could find in the area and the location is perfect. Althought the service provided is very poor and the staff were less than helpful in every way possible....

Location is also awesome. The dorms are relatively nice with a good amount of space, AC, fans, huge beds, outlets & lights located at each. But BEDBUGS. I myself was skeptical. But more than one person fell victim. And one girl caught one in her bed. So we have physical - now squished - proof. Plenty of other great options...
