This is truly one of the loveliest the boutique hotels at which we have ever stayed. We were treated right away from the moment we arrive till when we left. I soon as we got to the hotel they encouraged us to go to one of the by weekly free wine tastings in the park nearby. The owner of the...

Thanks to fantastic reviews we chose this Wonderful establishment where great memories have been made on our 4day visit to Luang Prabang. This extremely well run Boutique Mekong Riverview is owned by Swede Urban and his very tentative Team made it easy to recommend this Hotel to any Tourist visiting this beautiful area of SE Asia. We were most pleased with this hotel with a friendly staff, fantastic location,an excellent restraunt overlooking the river, and super manicured grounds. Most impressive was that the owner was present and engaging every day even hosting a free wine party 1-2 times a week for guests. We had the larger room with fresh flowers,12'' hardwood floors, and a wrap around balcony perfect...

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel- with Swedish beds that can 'rise' and 'bend' to your liking. As well as a great shower head and a wonderful staff, complete with a tuktuk ( can fit 6) - that can take you anywhere in town. Part I loved the most was that they had books about Luang Prabang...

We stayed here for one night over Chinese New Year after spending 4 nights at a villa on the Mekong with friends. We had a river view suite with patio - very expensive but i think mainly because of CNY. The room is pretty comfortable and well appointed. We asked for a king bed on booking but they only had...

A terrific 3 night stay made us wish we could have stayed the week. We don't like large hotels and this 24 room boutique hotel made us feel as if we were the only guests despite being fully booked. Service by implacably professional but friendly staff was outstanding from the free pick up at the airport to the organisation of...

Complimentary bicycles, and in room soda and water. Staff helpful with recomendations on activities. The owner even hosted a wine tasting meet and greet. The place to stay in LP.

We spent 10 days as guests of the Mekong Riverview hotel in 2013 and enjoyed the ambience and service so much that we returned again in 2017 for an additional two weeks’ stay. We have not been disappointed. Urban Paulsson, the affable Swedish owner, backed up by his wonderful staff, takes pains to greet each guest over the lavish breakfast...
