We turned up without a reservation and were given a spacious room on the ground floor of the wooden building. Room was quiet even though close to reception and next to the road. Doors opened out onto small private seating area. Breakfast was tasty but we were nowhere near full afterwards. Daytime staff were very friendly, nighttime staff less so...

Not a bad hotel, but the rooms are quite old and smelly. Bathroom was quite dirty. Location is very nice, right at the river. But there are better hotels in Luang Prabang for the same or even a smaller price. Breakfast was good.

We booked two nights and stayed four. Beautiful room with balcony overlooking street which is part of the early morning Tak Bat, monks alms collecting procession. Good amenities in room, tv, fridge, kettle, chairs and lovely quiet AC. Great location although not in main hotel but very nearby guesthouse with same owner - nothing in the tourist part of LP...

The location and view are the best in this hotel. After that, the restaurant, very good (best food we had in Luang Prabang). The room, however, is quite simple, if you have western standards. Very small and simple, and the shower was quite a challenge. But it was clean and the balcony, just some degrees above the street, was really...

Excellent service and beautiful, spacious rooms! I enjoyed my stay here - everyone was very helpful. When my tuk-tuk didn't arrive on time as part of a tour I scheduled on my own, the hotel staff was very helpful and called another tuk-tuk so that I wouldn't miss my bus. They held my luggage for me until I could return...

A traditional Thai style building with thin walls, small rooms, and poor decor. This is very basic accommodation. From other locals I heard that the hotel is leased by a Franco-Thai couple for five years. They carried out a minor renovation a few years ago, but with a short lease did not invest extensively. To be honest, that is less...

All round excellent place to stay. The buildings are very characterful but well appointed and very tastefully decorated. Everything is clean and functional with nice hot water in the shower, wifi, minibar, air con. There are shutters on the windows which is both a nice touch of character and also very effective for blocking sound and light from outside. Staff...

Spent 2 nights in the traditional wooden house. Excellent service & value for money. Nice, clean and real care for clients. Perfect place to walk around the city...every place of interest is at walking distance. Don't miss a drink (and cheese platter) chez Matt, 20 meters from Saynamkhan and fine diner @ L'Elephant (simply the best in Luang Prabang).

The main advatage of this hotel is that it is near to almost every sights in Luang Prabang. - 5 minute walk to Wat Xieng Thong, Royal Museum & Mount Phusi - a minute walk to Sisavangvong Street where you can witness monk's early morning alm ceremony. The room is okay. The staff friendly. A restaurant is located on the...
