We stayed here for three nights and right from the outset we felt very welcome. The property only has 12 rooms, 6 on the ground floor and 6 on the first floor. It is built in traditional style with an obvious Colonial French influence, The rooms are compact but have everything you need, they are clean and well furnished, each...

The guesthouse is a comfortable option in an ideal location. We stayed in a well-maintained double room on the second floor facing Khounsua Road. I think all the rooms are the same size but differentiated by view and layout. We were happy to face the street since it allowed us to watch part of the alms giving ceremony from the...

our room was comfortable and had a small outside terrace. The central location makes it an excellent place to stay where the restaurants, night market ect are within easy walking distance. A quaint, comfortable hotel in an excellent location, and very clean. There was only a cold water tap for the bathroom washbasin - this appears to be standard in...

This is the second time we've visited LP, our first staying at Villa Chitdara. Excellent location, we were able to sip our morning coffee on our balcony as the alms procession passed by this morning. Rooms are large enough, good bathroom, coffee making facilities and an in-room safe. Friendly staff, not a bountiful breakfast, but good enough & a laundry...

Chitdara villa is a cosy villa with a friendly staff and nice view from the little garden behind. This is a good address for spending the night when you are travelling in Luang Prabang - Lao. When you are here, you can access to The Night Market!

Stayed as a 50+ couple for 4 nights in December 2015. Location on a quiet side road just off the main street so excellent position. Rooms clean and in traditional Laos style, wooden floors, wood paneling, cream walls. Little small but ok. Breakfast was usual - toast, cornflakes, eggs, fruit, Laos and western coffee. Wi-Fi available throughout guest house but...

Spent three nights at this clean and convenient B & B. Owner was personable and working on her English. Monks pass by at dawn to collect alms. Decent breakfast and good rooms. A few blocks from the "action," so it is a quiet choice.

This is a great place to stay in Louang Prabang. It’s a beautiful old house, breakfasts are delightful, freshly cooked and eaten out in the sun room overlooking the lovely garden, the rooms are clean and comfy and the staff are great. Villa Chitdara is right in the old part of town but in a quiet street, walking distance from...

Found the accommodation to be of a similar decent standard to guest houses in Thailand although at higher Luang Prabang prices. Room was clean, bed was king size and comfortable, bathroom was OK, though shower not great. Main problem (may seem petty but to me its important) was the awful wifi service to the room. Mostly non existent. Made a...

This charming guest house is located on a quiet street minutes from all the hot spots - temples, national museum, morning and night markets, tons of good bars and restaurants. The monks walk by every morning so you don't have to get up super early to offer rice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are unbelievably clean!...

Dear Ayesha H, Greetings from Villa Chitdara. Thank you for your kind message. My mother is always to try the best to make the rooms clean. We are now working on improving on Internet network/speed. Internet in Laos is still slow and not stable unfortunately. Looking forward to see you again in our beautiful town. Your sincerely. Alex Chitdara
