Very strange business. Check in safe closed, not a single hanger. First day no room cleaning (no sign for room cleaning available) At breakfast I asked for cleaning, staff tell me in the afternoon, but I prefer in the morning when I am roaming anyway, looked not possible. Always bringing towels to breakfast for a change. Maybe the staff don’t... More

I stayed at this villa for 3 nights. It is a cozy nice place. I stayed in deluxe room. The room was quite spacious with 1 single bed & 1 queen size bed. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but no complaint. The villa is conveniently located...just a stone away from main road/night market. You can walk... More

I have mixed feelings about this place. Our first encounter we had was a bad one. After a long, cold and rainy 7 hour journey to Luang Prabang, we were so excited to get to our hotel and warm up. I showed them my booking confirmation and they explained that they didn't have any rooms available until the following night... More

I had booked another hotel in Luang Probang only to arrive and to be told that they were fully booked. I went out to look for another hotel and came across Villa Phathana Price was good when compared to other hotels that I looked at and rooms were much more spacious. Rooms had cable TV, and air conditioner. There was... More

Villa Phathana is conveniently located near Sisavangvong Road (a main road in the town center). The airport taxi driver knew the place well and we were surprised just how close it was to different attractions. It was across Mount Phousi, the Royal Palace Museum, and a short walk to see the majestic Mekong River. The Night Market is also just... More

This was a last minute booking for us but what a great find. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Perfect location being literally a 20 metre walk from the night market and Main Street, brilliant price, wonderful family running it who are willing to do anything for you and so peacefully quiet. Cannot recommend enough.

The Hotel is located next to the Prabang palace and Phu-Sri Mountain (Temple). The best view point that you can see 360 degree over the Luang prabang town. The hotel also close to the night market of the town. Room is quite large. Hot/cold water, refrigerator, air con, towels are. facilitated. The pillow is too firm and hard but accept.... More

Found this place while looking late evening for a place to stay. Perfectly located by the Royal Palace. Night market starts at the end of the road (30 secs walk!). Firstly this hotel (villa) is right next to the Royal Museum, so is one of the best places to be in Luang Prabang. The night market starts at the end of the road and all the main sights are within 10 minutes (although most are 5 minutes away). You can stroll to see the monks at sunset conveniently and the... stayed here 3N in room A01. Online websites showed our room to be $45/night but when we walked in we were quoted $30/night. Overall, we were happy with the room, the bed was comfortable, the windows has shutters so the room got very dark, allowing us to sleep well, and overall the hotel was quiet. We heard some guest around... More
