I really liked the place and the stuff . The rooms and breakfast are very basic but acceptable for the price range , I wish they replace the foam mattress to something a bit better. Showers boiling hot , clean and with good stream . The only issue for me was the fact they had flees . Yep , was...

Stayed one night only but I'm totally sastisfied. Staffs were kind, helpful and our check in process was smooth. Room was very clean and amenities are great too. The best part is their breakfast buffet as they have local and international delicacies though their pastry section needs some improvement. Everything was great! We really enjoyed to stay at this hotel....

The hotel: Lovely hotel, dorm room was clean and well kept. Nice touch providing towels, water and toothbrush every day as well as making the beds. Was a very welcomed change from the budget hostels! Not much atmosphere in the hotel and they only had no spare keys for the dorm room, but the staff were lovely and walked the...

We had a good stay in this place. Our room was big and bright with clean sheets, confortable bed, fridge, chairs and desk, and 3 windows. The staff was very nice and efficient. Breakfast is the standard toast and egg with coffee and fruits.

We stayed one week at royal guest house because during the Waterfestival it was really hard to find an accommodation. We had two different rooms. The first one smelled very bad, there was mold on the walls and no window. After the Waterfestival we could move to another room (we asked the staff). Nice room with window, small balcony and...

Stayed here twice on my last trip to Myanmar. Prices have gone up since my last visit 5 years ago. But the rooms are a bit better, aircon is controlable, fan works. For central Mandalay a single (double for 1 person) at $15 with aircon/bathroom/breakfast is reasonable value now. The lady staff were really good to chat to and helpful....

We stayed in the 20$ rooms, don't stay on the bottom floor, cause the noise from plumbing is horrible, the rooms facing the street are nice. What makes this hotel really comfortable is the male night shift, the guys are friendly and polite, ladies seem bit tired of the job and tourists. One thing we didn't like is when asking...

Nothing special, just another guest house. The building is a little strange at first, then ko after you get used to the stairs. Location is good, and there is a scooter renting shop just around the corner.

I've stayed in a few places during my trip in Myanmar and Royal Guesthouse is by far the best one. It is extremely clean - that's all I seen the staff do when there was free time. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and helpful - excellent English! Nice hot water for the showers. I stayed in a...
