This hotel is far too old. One one point can be mentioned is it is close to the train station. The rooms are small and the facilities got none. The hotel restaurant served Chinese food is better than nothing to eat. See the hotel pay no management to this hotel and the services is far from satisfaction!! Insects are everywhere...

Big comfortable bed, friendly staff, but showing its age - particularly in the bathroom. No hot water until I tried the cold tap! I thought the breakfast was quite an adventure - small plate & tried a bit of everything over five visits. The safe deposit boxes are just lockers with a $1 padlock; perhaps better than nothing?

The other reviews are somewhat accurate. However, I had hot water.. very hot shower, in fact. And staff were friendly to me. Breakfast was Chinese style buffet. It was fine. This hotel caters to Chinese businessmen who want inexpensive and basic.

This hotel is convenient, if you are taking the train in and out of Mandalay. For Myanmar, it is relatively clean. I found the hotel staff willing to help, when needed and they insisted on negotiating for taxis, so that we would not get ripped off. Power would go out occasionally but this was a city problem not really a...

No hot water, no wifi, wash basin leaked onto the floor, and 1 power point if you removed the TV plug. Asked the reception for another room and...

When we entered the room we found all sort of insects on the floor and bed, we were afraid to go inside the bed.. The Lavatory water did not go down so we could not use the toilet at all. Very...

The biggest benefit of this hotel is that it is a stone throw away from the train station. However, breakfast is served only as of 7:30 am or so, which is too late for the early morning trains to down south. They packed us a jam sandwich and 2 boiled eggs which was at least something. The hotel is a...

This is a good option for the very early departures of Burma railways (between 04.30 and 06.00) departs three trains to Yangon. There are no nighttrains. Hotel iand restaurant are not spectacular but a good option for $25,00 double room.
