The staff are incredibly helpful and efficient. Rooms are good (not huge, but adequate). It's a fairly new building, beautifully panelled with teak. Good restaurants in walking distance, easy to get taxis and help with arrangements. Arrived there without reservations for my next destination at the busiest holiday time, and the Hotel Emperor staff jumped in and found me something....

Superb service and extremely helpful staff who speak good English. Clean room, TV, breakfast but very small shower which was behind the toilet door (everything gets wet when you take a shower) and no lifts. Front desk staff were wonderful and went over and beyond to help with booking tours and activities too. Fantastic Italian restaurant called BBB 3 blocks...

Very nice cozy hotel in Mandalay with very friendly and helpful staff. Only negative aspect is that the shower in the bath room is flooding the whole bathroom. Don't miss to go the Indian restaurant near by. The sister hotel has a great roof top restaurant with happy hour during sunset.

The hotel is located next to the kings palace and nearby many good restaurants (including an excellent vegetarian restaurant). The room was nice, the bed comfortable. The hotel in a calm side street offers in its price category a very good standard. However, the bathroom was a bit in need of renovation and sometimes there was a bad smell. A...

We stayed here for 3 nights and will be back for another night before we leave Myanmar. Breakfast was very good with some options. The staff provided us with answers to all our questions regarding sites inside and outside of mandalay, boat trips, taxis, good places to eat. In general mandalay is not a great walking city so if things...

The hotel is basic but very clean and good value for your money. You can get tired of the breakfast after the second day, but same through SEA. I lost my passport and money on my way from Yangon to Mandalay and the hotel staff made the necessary calls to the bus company to locate my wallet. One of the...
