The room was very clean and quite big for 20 dollars. We arrived at 5am after a night bus from inlay lake and they let us check in which was great to get a bit of sleep before sightseeing. Air con was beyond powerful and needed turning off it was that cold! Not the usual for SEA! Good location for...

I had booked into a different hotel that was meant to have a 24 hour desk. However after getting a taxi there at 4am when my night bus arrived, the gate was locked. Taxi driver took me to ET where a helpful man woke up and checked me in. Ended up staying two nights and the helpfulness continued. This made...

The staff was the best part of this experience. Mandalay was where we arrived in Burma and was quite difficult to deal with due to culture shock. The hotel staff was the friendliest people we have run across. Though the cheapest room (which we had) were not great, the staff makes the experience very positive.

We booked the cheapest room and ended up at the 5th floor (no elevator) with only fan. The room had mosquito nets and no glass in the windows, but it was very hot. The shared bathroom was not the cleanest with a cold shower. There was only 1 staff member who could speak English enough to talk to. We often...

They have cheaper rooms on the roof. 5th floor and no elevator. Rooms are very very basic (2×2m) with small windows and common shower/toilets. Internet is ok. Very noisy in the morning as rooms have nets windows for air flow. Good only for a night sleep. Breakfasts are basic as well.

To begin with it was ideal. Cheap - The usual basic room and air con worked well etc. The guy downstairs who owns the place was extremely helpful in directing us around the city or giving us tips. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! However it was ruined for us when he had one of the men from outside who worked...

I stayed in this cheap hotel because of it's price. So probably I shouldn't really complain about all downgrades of this place. But I will. First thing - Internet does not really work. I don't know why but it seems older chinese woman who is probably owner of the place is trying to save hard on everything... What i liked...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are expensive for what you get : rooms are tiny and dark. Well located in Mandalay. We rented a motorbike there. Breakfast is the same every day : Toast, Coffe/Tea, Eggs and bananas.

I stayed at this hotel only for a night. But They gave me best impression. The staff were really helpful. They helped us to call a rent bike in bagan. They allowed us to use the bathroom even though we have checked out in the morning. Lots of smile here.
