Location is great. Original structure and interior design is very special. But a high level of neglect is apparent everywhere. Service and quality of everything below average. The Hotel can be great with some maintenance and well trained staff and attention to quality. The towels are grey, not white. The furniture is neglected, the cabinets do not close properly. Breakfast...

Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Check in was slow and incomprehensible - the staff member clearly didn't know what he was doing - took about 35 minutes to check in. I booked a junior suite with sea view (room 114) - certainly not a suite - just a large room with a bed and a...

The pictures and description on booking sites look fascinating, but the reality is extremely frustrating. The good: - The staff are nice and friendly. - The terrace cafe has a lovely view. The bad: - The furnishing is poor for a hotel with this price and claimed class. Just because you have a historical building doesn't mean you get to...

I stayed 2 nights in the Windsor Palace and overall I was pleased with my stay. The location is great, right on the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea and was in close proximity to the major attraction areas (Citadel of Qaitbay and Pompey’s Pillar). I found the staff to be quite friendly, especially in the restaurant. Both nights I had...

The room smelled of mildew. Just after we checked in, I found myself rewrapping some exposed wiring that was sticking out from one of the wall sconces and tucking it back behind the fixture. After we checked in they brought us some fruit. Of the 3 pieces, only 1 wasn't moldy or going bad. Hallways are too dark, check-in was...

The hotel has a great location on the harbor, between the Citadel of Qaitbay and the Alexandria Library. The views are fantastic from the oceanfront rooms and the rooftop breakfast room. The corniche is lively at night. A great place for a stroll with everyone else doing the same. The hotel is somewhat run-down, but has a lot of character....
