Location is good, right in the center of busy town. Vibrant night scene with a lot of traffic. Just by the coast, good weather and temperature all day. Building is quite historical with vintage feel, like a time capsule. We'll maintained considering the age. Service is good, friendly and prompt. Good vibes.

The hotel was really nice kind of a Historic building, room was ok, not very spacious, but enough for a couple to spend the night, the cleanliness was good, but the furniture was a bit old. Breakfast was good, with some varieties, Hotel was rated as 4 stars but the prices are much like a 5 stars hotel, room view...

I spent one night at this hotel... Indeed the Metropole is very old fashion, extremely well located... Very beautiful for people who like very rococo style. Unfortunately the SERVICE is TERRIBLE. First, we booked through a website asking twin beds, and a sea view, we also ask specifically to pay in cash and not using the credit card to hold...

An old style hotel centrally located good for both business and leisure. Rooms are spacious and clean with most of the necessary requests. Rates are very good. Good friendly staff and good breakfast with a good variety.

This hotel has character, including an ancient style elevator that still functions beautifully. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast reasonable. Only complaint is that they don't honour the price they quote on online booking sites, if you book it at a low price, expect them to "clarify" (obfuscate) to say why the price is different from what you have...

All I can say is that the decoration and the mood definitely takes you way back, and if you think you would enjoy something like this, then maybe you can spend one night there. Cons: -The room is not the cleanest. Below average. -Some cracks in the paint on the wall, but its a fair price to pay for being...

The view (when taking sea-side view), is amazing. The lobby is well maintained and very nice. The design is classic European. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel however there are also major downsides: there is a lot of noise (cars honking) so I had to use earplugs to sleep, the bathroom (and as a result also the room) smelled...

We stayed one night at Le Metropole in a Suite. We enjoyed the view on the place and the sea. We were on the 2nd floor and it wasn't too noisy. Some people compare this hotel to a museum with vintage style. In a sense, they are right : it is a quaint hotel and you can't be disappointed by...

It's great for a short stay, because the hotel is like a museum with vintage furniture and style. However they have problem with water pressure, it's hard to take shower, because it's almost no water.

Room overlooked the harbor with some amazing views. Hotel location is excellent for restaurants, shopping, Bibliotheca Alexandrina (museum), Fort Qaitbay, Corniche, everything is walking distance for the moderately fit.
