Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wont recommend for the following reasons: Dirty bed sheets (yellowish white covers and pillows with yellow stains) Window glass buried in dirt. So sad since sea view is nice but you cannot enjoy because of the filthy windows. Plates and mugs at breakfast didn't look clean at all. Table sheets in restaurant were dirty, not ironed and with very clear tears in the cloth Only one elevator for 12 floors.. they claim its been like that for a week but other reviews show it been alot longer than that are commonly occuring Furniture old and run down.. Chair in room had food stains on it. Good points if you're still considering .. heating working in winter .. nice view if they cleaned the windows or you opened the window ..warm water in bathroom . Some restaurant staff trying hard to be helpful despite the chaos

Room 1103 Pros: - good location (somehow central) - facing the sea - good breakfast, and could use some improvement for a 4 star hotel - friendly check-in agents Cons: - DIRTY. I've been to hotels of the same price range and this IS dirty. There were swatted flies and nose booger on the walls. Cups almost never washed. Hair on the shower floor - The AC doesn't work in winter, it's just a fan. I thought we wouldn't need it in view of Alexandria's weather, but the room was super hot because of the sun reflection. We also couldn't sleep with the window open because of the street noise. Two sleepless nights. There's only one elevator working but that wasn't an issue for me, even if we had to wait a while. Long story short: you can find better

Average stay good for quick getaway Rooms are small , breakfast is average but nice and welcoming hotel staff. The seaview is okay but too far from the hotel. Location is good close to san stefano mall and four seasons hotel. The street is nice for night stroll and close to the tram AC was noisy and the vent was dirty

Check in/Check out and friendliness of staff 5/5 Location 5/5 Bed & pillows 0/5 Cleanliness of rooms 0/5 Bathroom 3/5 It's unfortunate this hotel with an excellent location has such extremely poor rooms. The hotel needs renovation badly and the cleaning services to be looked after.

The hotel is amazing in all aspects. Great value for money. Centrally located, just next to Four Seasons with full sea view. Staff is very friendly and helpful, always checking on us and our needs. Try to pick full sea view rooms , it worth the money. Breakfast is very nice and full of varieties. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for Mr. Mohamed Saad for your great hospitality and generosity 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I was completely shocked and devastated from what I have seen from a hotel ancient & unique like you, also as four seasons is your direct neighbor you should do way MORE better ❗️ You have a very very very few positive points ; while your negative points reach the skies. Will start with your the little few positive points 👇🏼 ✅ Location is amazing , the view from the room is absolutely overwhelming. ✅ Bellman Ahmed AbdelHamid, is very very very friendly, have such a beautiful smile and very helpful (the only person I saw helpful and smiling during my whole staying and very decent) ✅ Food from the room service very tasty and portions are perfect 👍🏼 And here comes all the negativity I faced and made me regret my choice 👇🏼 ❌ Rooms smells very bad , there is no ventilation at all, even though we opened the terrace and sprayed the room with air fresheners and disinfectant but still the room smell awful, the smell came out from the carpet itself. ❌ Corridors smell are even worst ‼️ comparing to the price I paid , and hotel with your position you should have plasma in the corridors or remove such rotten carpets at least . ❌ Elevators absolutely slow , I wait at least 5 minutes to ride in ❗️ ❌ You mentioned you have parking, which is a complete lie … you don’t have parking, they use limited spot at a garage for a tower which is not even close to the hotel, it’s like 100 meter away… plus it is with extra charge (which they didn’t mention at all) , doesn’t have direct access to the hotel ❗️and more over always crowded and you have to leave your keys or park it and never move it again ❗️and this is completely unacceptable and dishonesty from you cause my first question when I booked do you have a parking or not. ❌ Breakfast buffet is absolutely poor , for a price 2900 EGP per night , you must be kidding me . We didn’t pay such money for 2 plates of cheese and 2 plates of cold meat, and 5 hot trays only ‼️‼️‼️ Bakry station is very limited and not fresh , egg station is not clean and taste awful, can’t believe you can’t make omelette ❗️ ❌ AC in the room is horrible, you can’t change the temperature at all and due to that I got a fever and cold . ❌ Stuff are completely inhumane and don’t smile at all, they are working completely off mood as if we force them to work… due to my fever I couldn’t go down for breakfast, I called them and asked to bring it up with extra charge 30 EGP as mentioned in the room services menu, they refused and said it’s a La card ❗️so I have to pay again with extra fee for a breakfast I already paid for it + I got sick from them in the very first place . ❌ Towels very cheep and ruined , not presentable at all… we booked for a suit and that what you got for me , seriously ❗️ ❌ We ordered dinner from the menu , but we paid a whole different price than what is mentioned is the menu which is complete fraud for me . By all means this is the worst staying in my whole life, it’s been 10 years since I visited Alexandria and you completely ruin it for me , make me sick and literally you steal my money , I paid 6K for services and quality no more than 600 EGP . I don’t know how you get 4 stars , you really should work really hard on yourselves people . Will never recommend your hotel at all and absolutely will never come back.

The room service was excellent Peter was so polite. The doorbell man Ahmed and his colleagues super professional. The lady who was in charge of floor room 308 was excellent one of the best house keeping stuff I ever met in my travels. But the reception stuff by night was super rood. How can u be a 4 star hotel without an Alcohol license. Plus other racial problems.
