Located in a remote area right between Danube Delta and Black Sea, this place is a gem worth adding to your travel list. You can leave your car at Jurilovca in a safe parking lot and take the one hour boat ride to Gura Portitei. We took the early morning boat ride there and spend extra time by the sea... More

At the edge of the amazing Danube Delta, our friends brought us to this remote place (30 min by speed boat from Jurilovca port), with a patch of white, unspoilt beach, full of wonderful shells. Our friends warned us many times that this is a three star facility, so we didn’t expect anything fancy; there wasn’t anything fancy indeed, the... More

If you like place with very few families a perfect sea with a small beach with sand also in blue and clean water, you can go for it. First you have to book a room at 3* pension or a small wood house (no star) or also is possible with tents, near the toilet with showers place. The travel is... More

I've been to Gura Portitei, because I was curious about the place and to have the Danube and the Black Sea separated by a 50m land gives you a gorgeous feeling. How to get there? You can go at Jurilovca by car and park it there. From here, you have two options. The first is to wait for the little... More

We had a super week at Gura Partitei, a remote but beautiful beach resort on the BlackSea coast. We travelled from Tulcea, following a week on the Danube Delta, and had a full board deal, with accommodation in the luxury rooms - with a/c, wifi, TV, en suite and daily cleaning. It's a resort with a very chill-out and relaxed... More

Good place to catch some sun and relax away form civilization. We loved the view and the beach. Clean water, many places to wander, plenty of space on the beaches. But, there are no supermarkets, not even a tiny one. Only one restaurant with high prices, bad services, and medium quality food. We waited sometimes even half of hour for... More

We loved the natural beauty of the place, the beach is is pristine condition, it's not overly crowded and it is a truly unique location. However, we were very unhappy about the conditions and services in Gura Portitei holiday village. We booked a cabin on the beach and, in addition to being very, very small, it handn't been cleaned before... More

6 adults+5 kids. We stayed in Gura Portitei for 7 days Vila Delfinul. Rooms very clean, towels every day, LCD, AC. Bad Wifi in room. Beach nice but not clean sand. Food is good but it takes 90' waiting to receive anything. Boats to rent from privats to go around Delta expensive. It's National Biosfera Reserve so no fishing allowed.... More

You can go to Gura Portitzei only by boat...which is 30 ron one way per person..30min to 1h and 1/2..depends on your luck. The place looks beautiful....but that is it. The beach was full of sea plants and some pets from very educated people who had the pleasure to be there. You can stay there in an old little house... More
