Very bad services, the receptionist was worried that i would fly out the window from the 1 floor and not pay her. Terrible breakfast - literally nothing to eat, frozen bread form several days ago. I was like .... Impossible room, torn bead sheets..etc

For those who do not care for the very centre of Brasov, this is a 10-minute drive (towards Bucharest) from the Brasov City Centre. We come here almost every year for the personalised service, clean rooms, and very good value-for-money. This is a three-star hotel, so do not expect luxury. But the cleanliness, the good breakfast, and the fact the...

It is difficult for me to bypass hotel Gema when I stay in Brasov, which happens about once per year. Sure, Bella Musica is a lot more central, and atmospheric. But in terms of straight good service, clean rooms, good breakfast and value for money, Gema is hard to beat. It is about 7-8 minutes drive to Piata Sfatului, the...

We stayed at this hotel for a few days while visiting the beautiful Brasov. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood of the old industrial and residential district called Astra. Calea Bucuresti stretches all the way to the city's new civic Center, it's a nice walk. Alternatively, you can hike over the hill Dealul Melcilor to reach the Center....

Service is friendly and courteous. Rooms are always clean, I even had a balcony. View was OK but on some days the garbage truck comes to do its job in the early morning and it gets too loud, even with closed windows. Breakfast ins simple and tasty, not too much choice, though. Overall very good value for the money.

Visited Brasov again and staid at Gema Hotel again. It takes about 5 minutes to drive into the centre from there. The service, the cleanliness of the room, the breakfast etc, all were tops as usual. Will come again.

After our villa accommodation fell through the day before travelling to Brasov for New Year, our party of 6 was relieved to find availability at Hotel Gema, when all other places were full. This did lead us to be suspicious of the quality of the hotel, but we needn't have worried. We arrived late at night, much later than expected...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice decor. It looks and smells clean. Nice personal touches. Fast internet and roomy. I would have paid more to stay in a place like this. Perfect for the price. Best of all it is very easy to find and close to downtown. Great value!!! Recommended for all travelers.

We were a large family having reserved 3 rooms during the New Year's Eve period. We found the staff very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and varied from one day to another (jam was home made). Rooms were clean and warm considering the cold winter period. Parking is monitored. One disadvantage would be the lack of...
