Tricky place to get to if you can't park. Lovely view from our window over the old town - its a very central hotel in the old town. One of the nicest breakfast places we ate. Room was OK, not amazing, and the usual inability to really adjust the temperature always detracts fro

We arrived after a long journey and parked outside the city walls. We asked for assistance to get our luggage to the hotel, but they said they couldn't help, so we dragged our luggage over difficult cobbles for 10 minutes in late summer afternoon temperatures of 30C. The room w

Do you have air conditioning?
The room we had was a double one, meaning a split level. Bottom part was cooler and top a bit warmer. We visited in July hottest month in Romania and temperatures in the high 30s°C but we didn't really need any AC because the walls are very thick, like 50cm of plastered brick. We opened the windows and also used a fan provided and things were fine. I've been told the building is historical so they can't make alterations too much.

"NOT room 214, or any room with ladder-access to the bedroom area. And not on the street side (bit too noisy)."
"try to get the room with the balcony. There only appears to be one from the outside."
"Ask if any of the rooms have a more modern bathroom"
