We were included in Happy Hour which involved about 6 couples, and we tried Polinka, Cerise (cherry liqueur) , Mirabelle, Lemonade and local white wine. Wilma put our clothes in her large machine, and they dried well. A great evening and great stay.
Very nice small family campsite. Very quiet place. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. They gave a lot of useful tips for visits and walks. They really care about their customers, asking if everyone was ok after a severe storm. They have a nice swimming pool. Good breakfast for only 4€ per person. We really enjoyed our stay. It was like coming home.
We had such a good time at Doua Lumi we stayed three nights, Hans and Wilma were very welcoming and the campsite was spotless. Hans and Wilma were two of the nicest campsite owners we came across and we loved having a swim in the pool after hot excursions. We would certainly recommend people to stay there!
Spring 2018 from 24-5 till 30-5 we visited campsite Doua Lumi with our caravan. We felt very welcome. We were received with a drink and a talk. The place itself and the view from our place on the surrounding hills was wonderful. Te facilities where in very good order. Everything was clean and well functioning. From Hans and his wife Wilma we got very good tips for visits to interesting places. The weather was hot so the swimming pool after our trips and walks was very nice. We also where invited by them to go to a Saxen treff. That is a kind of reunion from people of German origin who left Romania under Ceacescu after generations of living there. That also was a very special experience. We had problems with the electricity of our towing car. Hans put lots of time in finding a garage for repair and was even prepared to go along with us if necessairy. We had a lot of nice campsites in Romania but Doua Luma and its owners where one of the highlights. Thanks for all you did and where. Bert Hartman en Teuna Erkelens from Holland…
We have found it by pure accident. Place is immensely positive, and Hans and Wilma, the owners, are incredibly welcoming. There are also very helpful and eager to share their knowledge about places to visit and some you should rather avoid wasting time on visiting, as well. The only risk in staying there is that you'll be very reluctant to leave. Camping itself isn't big, but it offers every amenity one would need and more. It's clean, well organized, and friendly both for camper and tents. Located in small town, far from crowd and noise.
