This place is a gem. It is not inside the walled city which is a plus because it is not overcrowded. You eat out on a dock right on the water and you can see the lights of the city which is beautiful. The food was amazing and portions were huge. Best roast mussels ever!

I had eaten in several of the recommended restaurants in Croatia and Montenegro and to be honest, the food was mediocre or bland, even when expensive. Then I was on a hike and I stopped at Villa Ferri on the way. It was the best food I had had in about 3 weeks in the Balkans and was far better...

We enjoyed three nights at Villa Ferri. The room was comfortable, the view was outstanding. We loved being outside of Kotor, and really enjoyed being able to look across the bay at the city. Our only real complaint was that the owners smoked non-stop, and most of the time they were just below our window. We couldn't escape the disgusting...

Travelling ftom Dubrovnik in a hire car to our accommodation in Kator all very plesant until we exited the ferry. Incredibly narrow road with a few heart stopping moments after thirty minutes we reach our B&B. The location is amazing right on the Bay of Kotor halfway between the ferry and the town. Our room is very disappointing, very small...

In June 2014 we stayed here for two nights at the end of a cycling holiday, and cycled around the bay which is scenic and beautiful. If you need a cool beer whilst here I recommend a Dark Kozel. A family run small premises in a wonderful stunning location by the Lake with its own portage at the rear terrace....

We decided to book at Villa Ferri after reading many positive reviews - but we feel compelled to go against the flow of reviews and say that were very disappointed. Despite the incredible view and delicious local food our experience was marred by a consistent lack of hospitality. The reviews had mentioned the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff but...

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Ferri and wished we could have stayed for weeks! The location on the waterfront was simply idyllic. Villa Ferri is a small friendly family run hotel and we rated our experience staying there as one of the absolute highlights of our 2 month trip. Everything was superb, especially the delicious freshly cook food which...

This is a lovely family-run small guesthouse on the other side of the bay from Kotor.  After a slightly hairy drive (because of the very narrow road on the side of the bay opposite Kotor) we saw the sign for Villa Ferri and parked up nearby. We were greeted with great enthusiasm by the very traditional family and shown up...

we were there in June. Such an inexpensive propriety and so lovely! The people there are so kind my son cut himself on the barnacles, the people were so caring and helpful the rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great if you have a car but if you don't it is a good 15 minutes to the town....

Was recommended this restaurant and decided to try it out. Everything was as described to us - table on waterfront location with fantastic views. Food amazing - freshly cooked so had to wait but it was worth it. The portions are huge and would suggest smaller sizes which they were willing to do. Nothing was too much trouble. The family...

“Cab ride to the town is 2E not bad at all if you do not have a car. if you are travelling with kids, there is a lake outside that they can jump from it. Just be careful with the barnacle also try the grilled octopus and grilled fish. Best restaurant!!!!”
