I actually really liked this hotel. It was in a great position in the old town close to some decent, safe (paid for at 0.80 cents/hour) parking. The hotel is obviously very old, thick walls and wooden parquet flooring and panelling. The room was basic but clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet despite its central location. There... Ok, we stayed just one night so this is my thoughts after such a short while. The hotel is located in a good spot, has got tidy rooms and a nice view of the mountains. So why not 5 stars? The breakfast. Yes it's a cheap hotel and one shouldn't expect a luxury buffet. But the breakfast looked of something... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Small hotel located in the heart of the Old Town. Cars cannot enter the Old Town; from the closest city gate, it's a 5-min walk. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. My room overlooked an alleyway with the wall of the next building extremely close - therefore the room was... More

Hotel Marija is in the heart of the mediaeval city of Kotor, facing onto a small square that comes alive with entertainment in summer. The hotel is a short walk to Kotor's famous city walls, to many historic buildings and to the town gate leading to Kotor Bay. The hotel is small, neat and charming. Our room was old-fashioned but... This was a lovely hotel that we stayed in for 2 nights...kotor is a magical place, and hotel marija is right in the center of it with amazing views onto the surrounding cliffs. We got lucky with our room, which had great views from multiple sides, though it looked out onto a square which was sometimes a bit loud at... More

Hotel Marija is a hidden little gem in the heart of Old Kotor. It's far from luxurious, but it possesses the charm of an old and very cosy hotel. Some great views towards the fortress from the rooms located on the last floor. The lady at the reception was very friendly and was always ready to help with tips and... More

The hotel is situated in the old town of Kotor on a small square on which also is situated the convent of St. Claire and some 50 metres from the orthodox church of St. Nicholas. The reception is a tight fit, but the ladies that run the place are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has no elevator, so you... More

A wonderful spot in the city of kotor. Pretty good breakfast, close to the city walls, and within walking distance of some great hiking. A recommend! Ask for an upstairs room away from the street as it can be noisy at night on the weekend.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the entrance of the old town, in a beautiful old building, So far. so good. However, when you enter the hotel you feel that time stopped in the seventies. It looks as if the owners haven't changed a thing in this outdated establishment since then! Not even the pots with the plastic... More
