Welcome to our Heritage Villa Nobile From now on, may you feel like a nobleman! For the many who had been here before you Were indeed of noble spirit or of noble descent: The Musician Rubricius, Doctor Pugliesi, Admiral Ohmucevic, Painter Medovic, Writer Vojnovic, and Educator Haler, Each of 6 rooms here recollects one person’s lifestyle, legacy and accomplishments. At its heyday at the close of the 19th century, our villa and its lush garden were the gathering place for the city’s intellectual elites. The accomplishments and lifestyles of six distinguished individuals whose paths crossed between these walls inspired our story. Some of noble descent and some of noble spirit, each held a different occupation and in their own realm, spearheaded the cultural, economic and social progress of the town and country. Each of our rooms is dedicated to one remarkable person and their profession. Enjoy the story of your room and awaken you inner nobleman! The perfect location! Romantic, secluded and quiet garden! Impressive history of the house! Heritage Villa Nobile is ideally situated as it is just outside The City Walls and stone's throw away from everything Dubrovnik has to offer, whether one is interested in historic Old City and its many sights or basking in the Mediterranean sun and swimming in the crystal clear Adriatic sea. Being just a few steps outside the walls offers you more privacy and quietness and, in our case, a nice garden with many lounge areas to get cosy, dine or suntan, surrounded by 2 m high stone walls for intimacy. The garden offers some of the oldest Japanese Sago palm trees in the old town and is full of flowers and green and a view on the walls the main entrance and the sea. The house itself is like a museum and offers a blend of over 100 years old renovated furniture and modern smart equipment. Dubrovnik is famous for a lot of stairs, and for your convenience this house lies immediately on the ground floor of the old town – so no long step tours are needed.

Detailed Reviews
What a fantastic find this hotel is. The location is perfect for Old Town Dubrovnik - just a few steps from Pile Gate - but once you are finished exploring you can escape the crowds & the heat and come back to the beautiful, peaceful hotel garden. The rooms are all individually designed which makes them quirky and interesting - as well as spotlessly clean and air conditioned. Breakfast is served on a tray on the terrace outside, as with everything else in the hotel this is done beautifully. The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful, the service was always second to none. This hotel feels like a little bit of luxury and we would 100% recommend.

I honestly don’t know where to start! This hotel was a 15/10. The location is absolutely perfect— right outside of the main tourist areas and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. You open the unassuming steel door to the hotel and you’re suddenly in a garden oasis where Tina the owner hosts breakfast/ cocktails/ coffee. We arrived before check in allowed and Tina supplied us with towels for the beach, a coffee and stored our bags for the afternoon. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and meticulously cared for. Everything was so sparkling clean and smelled fresh and new. We stayed in the attic room for one night and I wish we could have stayed a week! The morning of our departure Tina made us the most beautiful breakfast platter in the garden of charcuterie, a basket of pastries, hard boiled eggs, bread, coffee, water and orange juice. after breakfast we took a ride to the airport that Tina set up for us which was with the best private cab driver— Drago— he was kind, polite, knowledgeable and even stopped and took a last photo for us overlooking the city. The stay was incredible and recommend it to anyone! We can’t wait to come back!

This was a cozy, comfortable small boutique hotel with the nicest, most helpful manager. The breakfast was comfortably served on an outdoor patio in the morning and the food was abundant. I definitely recommend this hotel right outside the city wall as it is convenient to getting around Dubrovnik. I would also recommend not driving a car there if you can take car service, it is a much better idea. Otherwise you will get stuck paying $40 a day just to leave your car sitting for a few days!

If you are visiting Dubrovnik, you must stay at Heritage Villa Nobile. The location, the service and the rooms made our stay absolutely perfect.
The location is directly across the street from the Pile Gate entrance into the walled city of Dubrovnik. There are many restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. (We enjoyed the casual Forteca Restaurant just outside the gate of Villa Nobile for a late night snack and drink). There is a car park and a taxi stand very close by.
The service at Villa Nobile is beyond excellent. They are a small and quiet hotel of only six rooms and they treat their guests as family. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and special. When we missed their breakfast due to an early ferry departure, they packed us sandwiches and drinks to take with us. There is a lovely shaded courtyard to relax in during the day and to rest your tired feet. There was always someone asking us if we needed anything or had questions.
The rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. The bedding and linens are luxurious and the furnishings are beautiful yet comfortable. Each of the six rooms are different. We had two rooms, the Concertino and the Celestin Medovic and they were both amazing.
We highly recommend the Villa Nobile and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Dubrovnik.

I seldom leave reviews, but this hotel warrants one. Conveniently located old City Pile Gate. Small hotel. Generously sized rooms are very nicely decorated with large bathrooms. Room was very quiet even given its busy location. Staff and owner couldn't have nicer. Continental breakfast was overly generous, far more than what we usually have. The hotel is within a walled garden courtyard on a pedestrian street. .

What a charming hotel and delightful owner.
The rooms were beautifully and individually decorated reflecting the home’s history.
The breakfast was excellent and served outside on the patio.
The location just outside the main old city entrance was very convenient, with local transportation nearby.

HVN, a small boutique inn, has been impeccably renovated, has delightful staff and is well situated just outside the Old Town gate. The property was a peaceful oasis just steps from the hustle within the walls. Breakfast was more than ample and served at a convenient time in a beautiful garden setting. We had an early morning flight to catch and a thoughtful "to go" bag was placed in our refrigerator the evening before. Beri and Ivana, as well as the owner Tina, were awesome hosts during our stays (bookends of our trip to Croatia). Highly recommend!

We couldn't have chosen a better place for our long weekend in Dubrovnik. The location was ideal--just steps from the Old City. More important, though, was the wonderful and warm service provided by the staff. Beri checked us in early, and spent time suggesting interesting things for us to do and see. Ivana was also very helpful, and brought olives and wine glasses to us out in their garden on Sunday afternoon. And the owner Stepan picked up our call at 10pm to help us get back into our room after we misplaced our key. The room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast is served in the garden if the weather is favorable or brought to your room if it is cold or raining. We will definitely return, and were sad to have to say goodbye.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the lovely team at this hotel looked after us so wonderfully. So friendly and helpful with restaurant or trip recommendations, the welcoming team could not do enough to help ensure we had a delightful stay.
Our room was on the top floor and was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed ( right down to ritual toiletries!). Breakfast is fresh and tasted great.
The location is perfect for the Old Town and easy to find. Also far enough out to not feel the hustle and bustle at night, so you are guaranteed a good
nights rest.

I woke up on the first morning after returning home from vacation realizing that I had just been dreaming about Heritage Villa Nobile. I wasn’t surprised really. I had been thinking about our fantastic experience there since we departed! The descriptions of the property on the website are entirely accurate. Entering the front gate is like stepping into a secret garden oasis, far removed sensorially but not geographically from the hubbub of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. One is welcomed by an idyllic and tranquil setting with lush and fruit-bearing greenery, a soothing fountain and inviting niches. The rooms are incredibly well-appointed and spacious with sophisticated furniture, smart electronic features and “old world incorporates new world” allure. We had a piano in our suite with hanging violins and sheet music wallpaper! Learning the story of the musician Maria Rubricius enriched our experience, like being gifted with an ethnographic Croatian pearl. The bathroom was high luxury in all dimensions, including beautiful tiles, dramatic lighting fixtures, a separate soaking tub and a walk-in shower that was truly gargantuan in stark contrast to our previous experiences in most other Balkan cities! The breakfast was consistently sumptuous with standard Dalmatian flavors and some special treats that left our bellies full and ready for a day of adventure. Far and away, our interactions with the extraordinary staff Beri and Ivana and, on the last day, the charming owner, were the perfect finishing touches. They worked very hard to maintain the cozy, clean and luxurious ambience while being completely attentive and pleasant to us in every single exchange. Beri went out of her way to advise us on our sightseeing options and planned excursions and checked in with us before leaving for the night. It felt like she was our local friend and consultant on all things Dubrovnik. Thank you, Beri! HVN has done it. They have discovered the formula for creating a perfect stay! I’m already dreaming of going back!
